While pouring out her heart to The Sun, in an exclusive interview, the grieving mom talked about her Kelyan Bokassa. Mary, 50, said that the young blood was caring, polite and talented. During his lifetime, he was a staunch supporter of the Arsenal football club, and he knew how to play the sport.
Mary revealed that she did not entirely enjoy her son’s childhood as they moved around a lot. Along the line, he spent four years of his life in childcare. At the time, both mother and son were not allowed to see each other. But in the end, the concerned mom enlisted the help of an attorney.
Still, things were not all that smooth as Keylan went missing for a year only to appear in front of her home looking thin and tattooed. The 50-year-old explained that her son picked up street behaviors during his time away from home.
She alleged that local gangs exploited the young teen who had been likely exposed to drugs. Mary revealed that she tried to talk to him about things, but he shut her out, failing to expose his friends. Unfortunately, before she had the chance to know who his friends were, her son was killed with a knife.
Sources say that Kelyan was en route to Woolwich Town Hall for a visit to his social worker. This was the same day he was returning to school in South London. At around 2.pm, Kelyan Bokassa was stabbed while on a bus. Although paramedics attended to his wounds, the 14-year-old didn’t entirely respond to treatment. Police are in search of the killer and no arrest has been made yet.
