per the New York Post

A newborn girl, only a few days old, was left outside a building on Reverend James Polite Avenue near East 167th Street at 6 a.m., wrapped in blankets inside a tote bag. Her cries led someone to contact 911, and officials located the baby after talking to the unnamed caller.

First responders transported the baby to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was luckily, reported to be in stable condition. Galvez turned herself in after a video showed her walking with a bag, hooded, wearing a mask and glasses. Officials noted she lives close by and has no previous arrests in New York City.
