Ashley Grayson, 35, was one of the leading influencers in Texas. By her standards, she was a bestseller and wealthy business coach. She also created courses surrounding her businesses while claiming to be a philanthropist.
Fox News claimed that Ashley Grayson’s deeds date back to 2022. The online maven felt threatened by her ex and a bitter rival in the same line of business. Grayson also had eyes out for a Texas woman who often criticized her online. This led her to reach out to a friend in Memphis.
She invited this friend and her husband to discuss the “business opportunity.” The alleged business coach then proposed to pay $20,000 for the lives of each of her threats. While the couple agreed to the offer, they immediately contacted the police.
The duo shared more damning evidence of the suspect asking them to commit murder. In the shared clip presented as evidence, Grayson offered to pay an additional $5000. She wanted her rival in Mississippi eliminated soonest.
Although the hired duo cooperated with the police they attempted to fake a hit. Prosecutors say that they sent a video showing police lights. According to them, they allegedly tried to murder the woman but were stopped by the police. Ashley Grayson believed the story and gave them $10,000 for their attempts.
U.S. Attorney, Reagan Fondren condemned the crime. Fondren maintained that Grayson tried to kill over an issue that happened randomly online. The attorney termed it a 21st-century crime that involved online feuds that affected people’s reality. The suspect has been sentenced to 10 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
