Music executive Ray Daniels has suggested that Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie Ventura’s drama occurred because the music mogul denied his ex certain benefits. Daniels said Cassie was a scorned woman who decided to exact vengeance after she saw that he treated his new woman, Yung Miami, better than her. Diddy became entangled in many lawsuits and accusations and lost his reputation after he and Cassie settled when she filed a suit against him. Daniels asserted that Cassie orchestrated Diddy’s downfall when she saw he upgraded his new woman and didn’t do the same to her.
Ray Daniels Says Why Diddy Fell
Ray Daniels thinks he knows why Cassie ratted out Diddy, leading to his downfall. The music executive was on the Big Facts Podcast on Tuesday, December 17, with Big Bank, DJ Stream, and Baby Jade when he disclosed his ideas. According to Daniels, Diddy’s downfall was due to the different ways he treated Cassie and Yung Miami, also known as Caresha.
“I think the thing that brought him down was Caresha,” he said, adding that Diddy did something dangerous by “turning up” his new girl.
“Don’t nobody piss your ex-bitch off than you turning up the next bitch. Everything he promised for Cassie, he gave to Caresha. He gave her a show,” Daniels said when one of his hosts asked for context. “When she’s performing – she ain’t signed to him – that ni**a showed up to her show like she his artiste like supporting her. You’re Cassie, you looking like I spent 13 years with you begging you to give me that, and you give it to this b**ch, and now you making me penny pinch. Now, I’m a sue your a*s.'”
Ray Daniels Says Cassie Was Diddy’s “Starter Wife”
The music producer also had other ideas on what happened between Diddy and Cassie when they were together. He said the disgraced music mogul was on his “Victory lap” when he was with Yung Miami.
“He just got celebrated from MTV, just got the key to New York City,” Daniels recalled, adding that Diddy was “doing so good.”
He also asserted that the incarcerated musician was doing “everything to change his reputation,” including giving to many causes and people. Daniels said the disgraced rapper’s efforts poured down the drain because he treated Cassie like a “starter wife who didn’t get what she wanted” despite enduring many things.
“The starter wife always go through the bullshit first,” the Canadian talent manager stated. “When Puff was in his dark stage, he was with Cassie. Now, he’s in his love era, he with Caresha. Caresha got a way different experience from Cassie did. Who you think that stuff pissed off more than anybody?” he asked.
While they may or may not have an iota of truth, Ray Daniels’ thoughts undermine the importance of accountability. If Diddy is found guilty of all he is accused of, it will be due to his actions, not because Cassie felt scorned and ripped off for not getting certain goodies.
