Jazmin Abreu was the victim of theft and violence from an Uber Eats Delivery worker. This time, she did not expect anything different when she requested a grocery order. It was worth $89, and the Uber Eats delivery guy stole it after attacking her.

While speaking to a CBS reporter, the store owner explained that the man refused to do the usual. When he arrived, instead of coming into the store, he waited for her outside. However, once she was in a close-up distance, the delivery worker punched her face and reached for her key. Abreu’s sister who noticed the attack quickly jumped in to save the day, but she got hit too.

The assailant intended to rob the store by trying to steal the keys, but it entered Abreu’s bag. Still, the man aimed for the bag. Eventually, after attacking both women, he left with the order. Security footage from the store showed the now-wanted man during the attack.

The authorities have asked Abreu not to share the clip of the physical assault. Meanwhile, they are heavily invested in apprehending the suspect as his images have been floated online.

Although the delivery worker who attacked the Bronx customer is yet to be found, Uber Eats confirmed he is no longer affiliated with their app. Additionally, a spokesperson claimed they are entirely cooperative with the authorities.

In the meantime, the victim is yet to recover from the unsavory incident. She told CBS News that the former Uber Eats delivery worker promised to be back for her. Amid living in fear and shock, she has no choice but to continue working.
