A shooting at a Halloween party in Oklahoma City early Saturday morning resulted in one death. Officials reported the gunfire began after an argument between two groups at Patty’s Event Center, according to the New York Post.
According to Sgt. Jon Skuta, a
“verbal altercation”
started inside the building and then moved outside, where the shooting occurred.
The sergeant went on to tell CNN,
“Those people then went back into the event center where the shooting continued.”
Sadly, one man died and at least 12 others were hurt in the shooting, with two in critical condition. Officials say multiple gunmen used rifles, and officials are investigating. Cellphone videos have been gathered as evidence. The number of attendees at the party is unclear.
