A disturbing discovery was made on a Brooklyn street when someone passing by discovered a human fetus. The 48-year-old woman saw the remains on Union Street near Schenectady Avenue around 5:30 p.m. and instantly contacted officials, per the New York Post.
EMS workers confirmed the fetus was deceased at the scene, estimating it to be about four months old. The gender is unknown, and the reasons for its presence on the street remain unclear. The Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of death.
