Deputies in Georgia are seeking assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning related to a trespassing incident, per WSBTV.

According to Burke County deputies, the individual entered church property located near Old Waynesboro Road. The sheriff’s office reported that he placed raw field cotton on the steps of the church porch.

Officials noted that the congregation is primarily made up of Black members. Deputies are looking to question the man regarding both trespassing and littering. No additional information has been provided.

Burke County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone who recognizes the man or has relevant information to reach out to them at 706-554-2133 or the Investigation Division at 706-554-6633.
