Queen Opp, born Sierra Michelle Taylor, has said she is now an improved person after therapy. The media personality shared the update with fans after she was imprisoned for physical assault. She vowed that her therapist had helped her to change. Queen opp also said she was ready to take responsibility for her actions following her probationary period.
Queen Opp Learned Accountability From Therapy
Following her probation, Queen Opp says she is no longer the person she used to be, and claims therapy has helped her. The How They Do singer was arrested last year during a livestream after fans reported her violent behavior toward a friend named Chelle. The rapper revealed that she had learned to take accountability after undergoing therapy.
“I’ve been in therapy. I’ve been learning to take accountability. You know what I’m saying? Take accountability. That was the “A” word that I was just tryna avoid,” she said.
Queen Opp added that she is working with her therapist to be accountable for her actions and promised to share more details later.
“Realizing like bitch, ‘you do fuck up.’ Realizing that a lot of the things you go through is because you put that on yourself. So, I can admit I was a bad mom. I was a bad friend. I was a bad girlfriend, and I was a bad sibling,” she said, reflecting on her past. “Any relationship that I had, I lowkey fucked up in some kind of way, and that was because of the issues I had that was inside me.”
Queen Opp Ready To Change After Therapy
The social media star also promised fans they would see her try to be a better person even if some of her old habits jumped out.
“I just didn’t want to accept, so I’m not going to say I changed, but I just feel like this time around, y’all gonna see a different side of me mixed with Queen Opp cause I’m always gone get Queen Opp but y’all gon see a different side of me. Queen, like she really tryna better herself,” she said.
Queen Opp thanked all those who supported her in jail and “when the whole world hated” her. She told them they had a “special place in [her] heart” and expressed her love for her fans and friend, Dani. Dani and Queen were both arrested when Chelle led officers to their apartment during their Instagram Live session. The duo harassed the woman, and Queen even boasted of making her eat dog poop. After spotting the bruises on Chelle’s face and body, fans were alarmed and alerted the cops.
