The internet recently spotted Remy Ma in a heated exchange with a woman in front of a courthouse. The woman is the daughter of Darius Guillebeaux, the man Ma’s son, JaySon Scott was accused of murdering in 2021. The two women got into an altercation following Scott’s court session, an exchange that resulted in the rapper’s arrest. After the clip of the fight went viral, the woman, identified as Jazmin Dior, took to social media to share why she baited Ma into a fight.
Remy Ma Seen In Heated Courthouse Exchange
Remy Ma’s son has been charged with the murder of Darius Guillebeaux. The incident happened in 2021 in South Jamaica, Queens, and involved another suspect, Richard Swygert. The two were allegedly paid to kill their victim, who succumbed to multiple wounds on his head and chest. Scott was arraigned in June 2024 and has been charged with multiple counts of second-degree murder. He also faces a charge of criminal possession of a weapon in connection with Guillebeaux’s fatal shooting.
Following her son’s arrest and arraignment, the rapper was in court on Monday, June 30, to support him. However, Remy Ma got into a heated exchange with the victim’s daughter, Jazmin Dior, outside the courthouse. A clip of their confrontation was released online, and it quickly went viral. Dior recorded their altercation, and she was seen challenging the songwriter to “come down” so she would “beat [her] up too.”
Ma rose to the challenge and went down the stairs, after which Dior changed her tune. She suggested they go “around the corner,” but Ma repeatedly asked Dior to beat her. The duo eventually resorted to insulting each other, calling the other person “ugly” and broke. Although the two women didn’t get physical with each other, police put Remy Ma in handcuffs following the courthouse exchange.
Jazmin Dior Explains Fight With Remy Ma
After the fight clip went viral, Jazmin Dior took to social media to explain why she antagonized Remy Ma. In her clip, she called Ma a lot of names and complained about the rapper’s attitude towards her. Dior expressed her grief, saying:
“Realistically, I can never speak to my father again. I can never hug him, I can never kiss him, I can never say nothing else to him. You can see your son, you can speak to him, you can hug him, you can say whatever.” She lambasted Ma after reporting that the 45-year-old hitmaker flashed accusing eyes at her. “The fact of the matter is that I see this f**king lady, and she’s looking at me with a whole attitude. When I tell you her eyes grilling as if her son was the victim.
Jazmin Dior wondered why Remy Ma was not outrightly remorseful about her son’s actions. “Like, miss, where’s your remorse? Where’s your sorry? Where’s your sadness?” she asked, adding, “Nobody said nothing to you, you f**king gremlin. You acting like you mad about something, eyes grilling somebody. Ugly a**.” Dior also claimed that Ma put up a tough front but was really a coward, on her social media. She said Ma ought to have been angry with her son instead of the victim’s daughter.
Remy Ma and her son didn’t have a close relationship compared to the one she shares with her daughter, Reminisce. However, her heated exchange at the courthouse and her support for him indicate that she wants to rectify that. In the meantime, Ma claims she believes in her son and has asked for a thorough investigation.
