Saucy Santana came out to defend his friend Caresha, popularly known as Yung Miami, over her interview about Diddy. Yung Miami and Diddy were an item before the disgraced music producer became incarcerated. Since Diddy’s legal troubles and arrest, many have focused on Yung Miami and hoped that she would speak about her experience while dating the record producer. She did an interview recently. However, it only got her more backlash amid varied reactions.
Saucy Santana Explains Why People Mad At Yung Miami
Saucy Santana has cleared up the air around Yung Miami‘s interview on Caresha Please. He was with hosts Drea and Lex on their Pour Minds podcast when he made bold claims about people’s reactions to Yung Miami’s interview. Santana remarked that everyone got mad after his interview with Yung Miami, which premiered on August 9, 2024. One of his hosts said:
“I’m looking at Twitter. I’m looking at all the things they are saying, and I’m like, ‘Bro. Y’all acting like she was the one doing it.”
Santana agreed, saying:
“How are y’all mad at her about the truth?”
Drea answered her guest’s question and opined that the public felt Yung Miami “didn’t say enough” about Diddy. The rapper then weighed in with a different view. He said:
“B**ches was mad because that wasn’t her experience. First of all, Caresha has been through domestic violence twice, so that’s not even something that she plays with at all. He never put his hands on her. Whatever that he could have done before, it didn’t give that.”
Saucy Santana Asks For Evidence Against Diddy
Saucy Santana also took a break from talking about Yung Miami to comment on the rap mogul’s accusations and evidence. He questioned the proof provided and stated there was not enough to declare the music mogul guilty. Lex had said:
“I mean we saw what he did, and we know what he did. It’s there in black and white. Like we know who this person is at this point.”
However, Santana responded:
“We only saw a video of him in that hotel. All these other things that people keep saying, still to this day, it’s not proven.”
Eventually, the conversation switched back to Yung Miami and Diddy. One of the podcast hosts asked Santana:
“Do you feel like [Yung Miami] handled the [Diddy] situation like she was supposed to?”
The makeup artist turned rapper replied honestly:
“I feel like she could have been more vocal, but that is just Caresha.”
Santana provided more context later. In a YouTube clip, he explained that people are angry at Yung Miami because they “love negativity and drama sells.”
Yung Miami and Diddy’s situation seems to have been one of those exceptions to every rule. The No Bars rapper has shared that she had a great relationship with Diddy. Meanwhile, fans remain divided over her response to the accusations against her ex and the video of him beating Cassie. While some expected her to be more vocal in her stance against domestic abuse, others have supported her for staying silent about what she didn’t experience.
