Shooter Wounds Four Teens, Including 14-Year-Old Girl, In Bronx Street Fight, Officials Seeking Suspect

A 14-year-old girl and three other teens were shot during a fight in the Bronx on Friday afternoon, police said. The shooting happened around 4 p.m. on Overing Street when a big group of kids got into it. A 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were hit in the left leg, while another 14-year-old boy was grazed on his foot, and a 15-year-old was grazed on both legs. Thankfully, they’re all stable at Jacobi Hospital, according to the New York Post.

The shooter ran away on foot, leaving the teens as bystanders contacted 911 for aid. Officials haven’t located the suspect yet, and no one has been arrested. Detectives are checking the area for bystanders and looking at security cameras to identify the gunman. They’re also trying to figure out what caused the physical altercation that led to the shooting.
