Simon Guobadia is deeply regretful over his marriage to Porsha Williams. He has claimed the reality TV star targeted him for his money, and he fell prey to her plot. The businessman said Williams never explained why she was ending their marriage despite asking her repeatedly. Guobadia’s statement comes shortly after the court upheld his prenuptial agreement with Porsha Williams. He has vowed to fight the decision in court.

Simon Guobadia Regrets His Marriage to Porsha Williams

Simon Guobadia has expressed regret about his union with Porsha Williams following the dissolution of their marriage. In an interview with Page Six, he claimed he was blindsided while Williams’ moves were all calculated. The entrepreneur said his requests for answers over why she decided to end their marriage were met with silence.

“This felt like a coup…I was totally blindsided,” he told the news outlet. Guobadia revealed that he tried to reach the singer’s loved ones and family. Following his unsuccessful attempts, he sent a scathing text reading, “This was a $5 million rehab project that I took on.” Simone Guobadia added that Porsha Williams “never shared her concerns or issues with me before filing for divorce. If you’re married…you discuss issues,” he noted, but stated there was no room for that with their divorce.

Guobadia also reflected on how fast his relationship with the reality TV star had moved. “Getting engaged in 30 days…who does that? I was out of my goddamn mind. Of course, I’m paying dearly for it,” he remarked, adding, “I think I was targeted. I was targeted from day one for financial reasons. When I filed for divorce from my previous ex-wife [Falynn Pina, Williams] was in my DM, praying for me. I think I was in a vulnerable position at that time, and I entertained it,” he admitted, saying it “snowballed.”

Simon Guobadia Vows to Appeal Alimony Settlement

Simon Guobadia and Porsha Williams’ marriage lasted 14 months. Williams claimed she filed for divorce after discovering troubling information about her ex-husband’s finances and U.S. immigration status. Contrary to Guobadia’s revelation, she claimed they had a confrontation on Valentine’s Day, a week before she filed for divorce. Four months after ICE detained her ex-husband and deported him, a judge upheld the former couple’s prenuptial agreement.

The judge ruled that the actress would receive $40,000 per month for the duration of her marriage to Guobadia. She will also stay in the Atlanta home mortgage-free for 36 months. She has until then to decide whether to remain there permanently. However, Simon Guobadia disagrees with the ruling and has vowed to appeal “with 1,000%” certainty “all the way to the Supreme Court.”

He also countered Porsha Williams’ claims that he is close with her daughter. The businessman said he typically avoids building a relationship with his spouses’ children. He claimed it was a loophole they usually sought to exploit and claimed Williams tried to do the same. He also criticized her gesture of paying child support while he was locked up. Guobadia also stated that he wished his children’s mother hadn’t accepted the $ 2,500 payments made twice. He said Williams didn’t do that in “good faith.”

Simon Guobadia and Porsha Williams’ marriage has officially ended, and the entrepreneur has been deported to his home country. Meanwhile, Williams has not responded to his claims. Instead, she says she wishes to move on.
