Martha Stewart’s unusual friendship with Snoop Dogg has allegedly upset his wife, Shante Broadus. Unnamed Sources revealed that his wifey of 27 years feels neglected and has told him to minimize contact with Stewart, according to RadarOnline.com.
The source said, “Shante is getting sick of Snoop and Martha being attached at the hip and the public perception that THEY’RE a couple – leaving her on the outside looking in.”
83-year-old Stewart met 53-year-old Snoop on The David Letterman Show in 2008. He later invited her to hang out, and they have been close friends ever since.
A friend said, “Those two are a perfect match.. They balance each other out, and while he’s great with pop culture, she’s business-savvy… He’s learned a lot from her.”
Sources say Snoop Dogg has introduced Martha Stewart to a new demographic of fans and friends in the music world as a result of their friendship.
Although they enjoy their time together, Snoop’s wife feels like she has been shoved to the side.
“Snoop and Shante are happily married… But she insists that when her hubby and Stewart are together, she often feels jealous,” the source added.
Although the couples rep didn’t indicate any jealous or tension, the sourced continued, “Shante wants the world to know that SHE is the woman in Snoop’s life and has given him an ultimatum – cool things with Martha and make that clear, or face consequences.”
