Connie Boss Alexander, Stephen tWitch Boss’s mom, has responded to Allison Holker’s interview and explanation with a statement on social media. The grieving mom expressed disbelief at Holker’s claims and vowed to fight for her son’s honor to protect his children and legacy.

Stephen tWitch Boss’s Mom Releases Statement

A day after Allison Holker tried to rationalize revealing her late husband’s addiction and sexual abuse, Stephen tWitch Boss’s mom issued a statement standing against it. Connie posted her statement on Instagram on Thursday, January 9, on behalf of the family and vowed to unite against any attempt to destroy her son’s honor.

“Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss,” she began.

Connie noted that the latest reporting about her son was disrespectful and vowed to fight them. She said:

“The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this.”

Connie Stayed Silent For Her Grandkids

Stephen Twitch Boss’s mom’s statement also revealed that she had chosen to stay quiet since her son’s passing to protect his children. However, she could no longer do that after reading Holker’s interview and the following publications. Holker’s memoir, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light, is also set for a February 4 release.

“For the last two years, I have remained quiet and away from the public eye to protect my family,” she said.

She added:

“My primary focus has been on healing and attempting to remain connected to my grandchildren.” Connie continued, saying, “But when I read these dreadful claims about my baby, our beloved Stephen, I realized I could not stay silent any longer. Our family will ensure his name and memory are protected, and we are committed to defending his honor. -Connie Boss Alexander.” She ended her statement with the hashtags #StandforStephen, #BossFamilyUnited, #SLB, and #LLSLB.

Allison Holker Reveals Rationale for Interview and Memoir

A day before Connie’s statement, Allison Holker explained why she granted an interview with People to discuss her husband’s addiction and sexual abuse. The dancer had come under heavy criticism for revealing that tWitch was sexually abused as a child and was a drug addict before his death. She said that the interview and memoir were her way of raising awareness about mental health issues and hoped to prevent more suicides when people recognize signs of failing mental health.

“I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,” Holker wrote in a lengthy post.

She said she hoped her book would give people another perspective when they see her intention to “celebrate the love and life I shared with Stephen and our three beautiful children.” She also promised to donate the proceeds from her memoir to her mental health-focused foundation, Move with Kindness, founded in tWitch’s honor.

Stephen tWitch Boss’s mom’s statement reveals the depth of her and the family’s pain. Hopefully, everyone can heal in due time and focus on tWitch’s children and their mental health.
