Stranger Randomly Shoved 86-Year-Old Woman At NYC Supermarket Breaking Her Teeth

NYPD

A random attack occurred over the weekend when a stranger pushed a senior woman, 86, to the ground outside a supermarket on the Upper East Side, sadly, shattering her teeth. She was leaving Morton Williams when the man suddenly shoved her from behind, per the New York Post. The impact of the shove caused the elderly woman to fall face-first into a pole that was holding up scaffolding outside the store.

The assault caused her to break several teeth and injure her left eye and back. Officials reported that she was transported to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she is thankfully in stable condition.

On Wednesday afternoon, officials released video showing the suspected attacker walking back and forth inside the store. After the incident, he ran away, heading south on Third Avenue, officials say.
