Swizz Beatz Accused of Taking $7 Million In Stolen 1MDB Funds in Explosive New Lawsuit

Music producer Swizz Beatz is facing a lawsuit for allegedly receiving over $7 million in stolen funds connected to the notorious 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal.

The lawsuit claims that between 2012 and 2014, Swizz Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean) received money from fugitive businessman Jho Low and his associate Eric Tan, according to reports. Both are implicated in one of the largest global corruption schemes, according to reports.

The funds were reportedly funneled through companies linked to the 1MDB fraud, with Swizz Beatz allegedly benefiting from multiple large payments made to his companies, including Swizz Beatz Productions and Monza Studios.

These funds, according to liquidators, were part of a broader scheme to siphon billions from the Malaysian state fund. Although it remains unclear if Swizz Beatz knew the money was embezzled, the liquidators are seeking to recover the $7.3 million, along with additional damages and legal fees.

#Swizz, just give them the loot!
