    22-Year-Old Childcare Worker On Trial For Being Caught On Camera Pinching Multiple Children and Grabbing One By Neck

    Roksana Lecka, a 22-year-old childcare worker, faces trial for child cruelty after being caught on video mistreating children. She reportedly harmed 23 children at Riverside Nursery in South London between January and June 2024. In court on May 8, prosecutors presented footage showing her pinching a boy’s nose and body, while colleagues reported seeing the abuse too, per PEOPLE. 

    The footage allegedly showed her snatching a child by the neck. Staffer revealed that multiple children were harmed and had injuries by Lecka, including “pinch marks,” “red skin,” and “raised skin,” says reports from BBC and Sky News.

    Amid the court session, parents in the gallery were shocked as they watched the footage, according to Sky News. Prosecutor Tracy Ayling pointed out that Lecka appeared to check if other staff were watching while harming a child. Lecka was apprehended for child cruelty on June 5, 2024, confessing to two charges but refuting 21 others related to the Riverside Nursery school abuse.

    Lecka told Sky News, “I went into work that day and had a normal day. There were no accidents where any child seemed hurt. We have procedures for the handling of the children, which I adhered to. I am unaware how any injury to these children were caused.” 

    The prosecution mentioned in court that no concerns were raised when Lecka was employed at the childcare center for children aged 10 months to 2 years. Her references illustrated her as hardworking and good with kids. However, employees noticed odd behavior, and she was sent home once for acting dazed, alarming her staffers. Her trial is expected to last about five weeks.

    Teen Charged with Allegedly Poisoning Mother’s Milk with Bleach, Police Say

    A 17-year-old boy from Florida was taken into custody on attempted murder charges for allegedly trying to poison his mother with milk laced with bleach, according to the NY Post. 

    The mother, whose identity has not been disclosed, said she poured herself a glass of milk on the morning of April 19, took a sip, and detected an “intense chemical” taste, as reported by Volusia County police to WESH. 

    Recently released bodycam footage captures the moment the mother and her other son detailed the incident to the police, who eventually discovered the suspect hiding in an upstairs room.

    “He put the Clorox in the milk,” the confused mother told the officer. “You poured it into your glass and had some — how much do you think you had?” the deputy asked. “I think I had a little bit, and I tasted it,” she responded. 

    The Volusia County deputy confirmed that the milk the woman drank had a strong odor of bleach. The 17-year-old suspect later admitted he intended to make his adoptive mother ill. He confessed to the act, stating he was unhappy with her and didn’t want to continue living with her. Although the mother did not report any immediate symptoms from the chemicals she consumed, she still requested a medical evaluation.

    Police indicated that it was her other son who called 911 after the incident. The suspect now faces charges of poisoning food or water, attempted felony murder, and aggravated abuse of an elderly person, as outlined in an affidavit.

    Woman Sentenced for Stabbing, Burning, and Forcing Boy to Consume Feces in Distributing Abuse Case, ‘Do it All Again in a Heartbeat’

    A New Zealand woman faces prison time for allegedly torturing a young boy. Selica Romana Wright, 34, is accused of stabbing the teenager with a chef’s knife and a screwdriver, making him eat feces, pouring boiling water on him, and urging him to take his own life, as reported by the New Zealand Herald. 

    Wright appeared in front of Judge Kirsten Lummis at the Auckland District Court, presenting a letter of apology. However, prosecutors used her own words from intercepted prison letters to reveal that she showed no remorse for her actions. “Haha. Do it all again in a heartbeat,” she wrote. “No regrets for me, only that I didn’t do it properly. LOL.”

    The judge sentenced her to 10 and a half years in prison, with the requirement that she serve at least half of that time before becoming eligible for parole. The Glen Eden resident was arrested in October 2023. The teenager was able to escape to a neighbor’s house to seek help. Court documents indicate that the abuse occurred over a 10-month period. 

    Horrifying Details of Victims Abuse

    Wright would abuse the victim whenever she faced “problems with her private life”, or became angry. In one instance, she reportedly struck him with a metal vacuum cleaner pipe, hitting him with such force that the pipe got damaged. Additionally, she used a hammer on him at least five times. “[He] was struck about the head, body, legs, knees, feet, back, arms and his hands,” court documents state. 

    On two separate occasions, Wright attacked him with a sword and a spade. In the month leading up to her arrest, she told the boy he should hang himself, and when he refused, she threatened to hang him herself. On October 22, 2023, he managed to escape to a neighbor’s home to ask for help after Wright had left to run errands. Wright pleaded guilty last year to several charges. Medical professionals discovered seven fractures in various areas of the teen’s body, along with severe bruising, cuts, burns, and puncture wounds.

    White Couple Sentenced to Life in Prison for Forcing Their Black Adopted Children to Work as ‘Slaves’

    A white couple from West Virginia was sentenced this week to life in prison for the abuse of their Black adopted child, whom they allegedly made perform heavy labor like “slaves,” as reported by PEOPLE. 

    Donald Lantz, 62, received a sentence of 160 years after being found guilty of forced labor, human trafficking, and child abuse and neglect, as reported by the New York Times. His wife, Jeanne Kay Whitefeather, 63, was sentenced to 215 years after being convicted of the same offenses, along with violating her children’s civil rights. The couple was found guilty in January.

    “You brought these children to West Virginia, a place that I know is ‘almost heaven,’ and you put them in hell,” Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Maryclaire Akers said during sentencing, per WCHS. “This court will now put you in yours. And may God have mercy on your souls, because this court will not.”

    Couple Taken into Custody

    The couple adopted five children in 2018 and later relocated to Kanawha County in May 2023, according to prosecutors. They were arrested in October 2023 after a neighbor alerted Child Protective Services, claiming that two teenagers, ages 14 and 16, were locked in a shed at the couple’s home in Sissonville, based on court documents obtained by WCHS-TV. Additional neighbors also reported that the children were “forced to perform farm labor and were not permitted inside the residence,” per the documents.

    When deputies arrived at the residence, they discovered the children living in a shed that contained only a portable toilet and lacked running water, as stated in an indictment referenced by West Virginia MetroNews. The children were dressed in filthy clothes, and the oldest boy had what looked like sores on his feet, according to AP News. During the trial, the oldest daughter testified that the children were frequently cursed at, and some were forced to stand in their rooms for hours with their hands on their heads, according to the AP.

    Shocking Restraining Order Plea Alleges Singer Macy Gray’s Son Of Abusing Her and Their Family

    Macy Gray‘s daughter, Aanisah Hinds, has sought legal protection against her brother, Tracy Melvin Hinds, accusing him of recurring abusive behavior while under the influence of alcohol.

    According to the court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the most recent incident occurred on February 3rd. Aanisah alleges that Tracy threatened her fiancé, Cornel Pearson, and warned that

    “his goons would get”

    Pearson, following a disagreement involving Macy Gray (whose real name is Natalie Renée McIntyre).

    “Tracy got into a physical altercation with my mom, he followed her and harassed her as he always does when he drinks. My boyfriend [Cornel] tried to remove my mom but he continued to follow them until he fought my boyfriend,”

    the docs stated. According to Aanisah, cops were called while Tracy continued to bang on the door even pushing their mother during the ordeal.

    “After he was out of the house, we locked the doors, but he came back through a window and began harassing [us] again. Later, he pushed me, and he has done so many times,”

    Aanisah Hinds claimed. According to court documents, she was advised by the police to file a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and request to move out. Anisah highlighted two other instances where she claimed her brother was violent towards the family. One occurred in May 2022, and the other in late Oct. 2023 when their mother was on tour. 

    Aanisah is requesting protection for herself, Pearson, and Gray, explaining that he

    “constantly abuses and fights with all of us”

    and

    “no one has a problem except him.”

    Aanisah noted that she and Pearson are expecting a child who will be born later this year.

    Bronx Man Arrested After Allegedly Abusing Girlfriend For Weeks, Then Taking Her To An Empty Office To Torture Her Some More, Subsequent Police Investigation Reveal Decomposing Body In His Apartment

    Former convict, Deshawn Owens, is facing serious charges after torturing his girlfriend in a Bronx office building, according to the NY Daily News. Police have also connected him to a decomposed body found in his apartment.

    Owens, who is a 30-year-old ex-convict, was arrested near Third Ave. in Mott Haven. His girlfriend, aged 28 and unidentified, was seen leaving the office visibly injured and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Owens is now facing charges that include assault, strangulation, and unlawful imprisonment in connection to the brutal abuse of his girlfriend.

    According to Bronx prosecutors, Owens had been holding his girlfriend captive since December, subjecting her to physical abuse and restraining her with cable wires in their apartment on E. 179th St. Owens then moved her to the office building in Mott Haven on January 17. 

    On January 19, the police received a 911 call reporting an assault and discovered Owens and his girlfriend in the vacant office.  The victim suffered multiple injuries, including black eyes, broken ribs, a punctured pancreas, internal bleeding, and fractured hand bones, reports reveal. 

    During a follow-up investigation on January 20, detectives found a decomposed body wrapped in fabric inside a trash can at Owens’ apartment in East Tremont. Due to the advanced stage of decomposition, the cause of death has not yet been determined.

    Detectives are now working to establish whether the traumatized woman was aware of the presence of the body in their shared apartment. An investigation into the case is ongoing.

    Woman Says Deli Clerk Dragged Her After Mistaking Her As Transgender: Lawsuit

    A woman from Staten Island has filed a lawsuit against a deli and its owner after an incident in which she was dragged by her hair into the street, reports HuffPost. Jasmine Adams, 35, claims that the altercation occurred because the deli cashier mistook her for being transgender. The lawsuit alleges assault and battery, stating that the cashier became frustrated during a misunderstanding over a purchase of marijuana and proceeded to call Adams a “transvestite.” The cashier has not been publicl identified.

    Video footage obtained by HuffPost shows a man in a white Denver Nuggets jersey dragging Adams by her hair and kicking her as spectators react in shock.

    In the video, a person can be heard saying,

    “You don’t need to be doing all that.”

    Adams, in an interview with the New York Daily News, explained that she had entered the deli to purchase marijuana for a friend. Although marijuana is legal in New York City, only a few licensed establishments are allowed to sell it. Adams claimed that the cashier mistook her attempt to clarify the purchase for haggling and threw the marijuana on the ground when she paid.

    The woman told the news outlet,

    “I said it wasn’t about the price and that I was just trying to figure out what I was buying,”

    after revealing that she was purchasing the marijuana for a friend and contacted her friend to confirm the price of $40. 

    According to Adams, when she refused to pick up the marijuana, the cashier began yelling at her and accused her of trying to get him fired when she asked for a refund. The lawsuit alleges that the cashier then called Adams a “transvestite” after noticing a pride flag on her watchband. He allegedly maced her and dragged her outside by her hair. Adams, who identifies as bisexual, expressed her disbelief at the cashier’s actions, stating that he had no right to become physical with her regardless of her gender identity. The New York City Police Department has confirmed that Adams filed a report with similar details to her lawsuit, and an investigation is ongoing.

    A woman in Florida was arrested after she allegedly smeared dog poop on her elderly neighbor’s face during an argument, per the New York Post. Kali Robertson, 28, was walking her dog through her mobile home lot in St. Petersburg when the incident occurred. According to officials, the man would often engage in conversations with Robertson while she walked her dog. However, on this particular occasion, something he said allegedly upset her.

    In response, Robertson grabbed an unsecured bag of dog poop and pushed it onto the man’s face, leaving poop smeared on him. She then threw the bag on the ground and walked away. The police were able to match the doggie bag to those in Robertson’s possession.

    After being confronted with the evidence, Robertson admitted to the crime. She was later arrested for her actions.

    A French man was busted for allegedly drugging his wife and inviting nearly 51 men to rape her while she was unconscious for over a 10-year period, NY Post reported. Police say he recorded each assault on his hidden camera. 

    The husband has been identified as Dominique P, reports reveal. According to a court filing obtained by local French outlet La Monde, Dominique had been mixing his wife’s dinner with an anti-anxiety drug called Lorazepam since 2011. The drug, unbeknownst to her, would cause her extreme fatigue and absent-mindedness. 

    In 2020, authorities discovered disturbing videos of the helpless woman after Dominique was busted trying to snap a video of another woman in a changing room with the same camera. Police say the videos were saved to a USB under a file named

    “ABUSES.”

    A total of 51 men, between the ages of 26 and 73, were caught on video assaulting the victim. They have all been charged with rape, reports reveal. It is unclear what charges the husband is facing for his alleged role.

    The couple had been married for 50 years and share three adult children. Dominique told police that his wife is a

    “saint”

    and

    “the love of his life.” 

    According to prosecutors, the woman broke down in tears when she was told the news. She was given medical tests that revealed she was suffering from four different sexually transmitted diseases. She has since filed for divorce.

    The wife of a disabled man in England has been arrested along with his caregiver after subjecting him to

    “squalid conditions,”

    abusing him, stealing his disability checks, and neglecting his needs for years, reports Insider.  

    Tom Somerset-How, 40, who is wheelchair-bound, partially blind, and has cerebral palsy, was rescued by authorities in 2020 from his home in the town of Chichester, reports reveal. 

    Authorities discovered that Somerset-How had been restricted to one room by his wife, Sarah, and caregiver, George Webb, with who she’d been having an affair. Somerset-How was reportedly found malnourished, weighing 98 pounds, and living in filthy conditions

    “without sufficient food and drink for four years,”

    reports state. He also hadn’t had his teeth cleaned for a year, per ITV News. 

    “Sarah Somerset-How, 49, conspired with her husband’s carer, 40-year-old George Webb, to leave their victim bedbound and malnourished while they took advantage of him for their own gains,”

    said the police statement.

    Text messages shown in court between the wife and her husband’s caregiver revealed the nature of their relationship.

    “Get rid of him; go find yourself a man. I think you need to leave Tom and get your life back,”

    Webb said in a text to Sarah. She also texted Webb messages like,

    “Remember, we are just using him. He gets paid soon, so I will take money out of his account for weed.” 

    Sarah and Webb were found guilty of

    “wilful neglect and holding a person in slavery or servitude”

    on May 12, Sussex Police confirmed. Somerset-How is back in the care of his family and wants to

    “campaign for legislative change to get more rigorous spot checks on carers regulated by local authorities,”

    he expressed to the outlet.
