A grandmother from California lost her life when a man, who was trying to take his own life, jumped off a highway overpass and landed on her car, per the NY Post.  Margarita Novela Galindo was sitting in the passenger seat next to her husband, Florencio, as they drove on the 210 Freeway near Sylmar, California, around 7 p.m. on August 9. At the same time, the Los Angeles Fire Department received calls about a man threatening to jump off the Roxford Street overpass.  The man fell through Galindo’s windshield and landed on her, according to her family. Florencio was not seriously injured. Galindo was taken to a hospital nearby in serious condition. She spent her final weeks in the ICU before she sadly passed away from her injuries. “Tragically, my mom passed away, leaving behind me, my brother, my sister, and her seven grandchildren,” the son, David Galindo said on GoFundMe. The grieving son went on to say, “It’s incredibly unfair that her life was taken because someone else didn’t want theirs,” the crowdfunding post said.  Florencio, is devastated by his wife’s death but does not hold any anger toward the man who jumped. “He doesn’t know what problems he may have had to commit suicide, but he doesn’t have any resentment,” her daughter, Stephanie Galindo told the outlet.  #Clique, what are your thoughts?

The Car Crash in 2002 Gave Me Signs of Autism, I Am Not Bipolar, Says Kanye West

Ye, aka Kanye West, wants the public to know he’s not bipolar, as previously claimed. Instead, he says he has “signs of autism” caused by his car crash in 2002, reports TMZ. In a bizarre text rant to Elon Musk, Kanye says, “When are we going to speak? You owe me nothing. You never have to speak to me again. But if we do speak, the nature of the relationship has to change. I’m not bipolar. I have signs of autism from my car accident.” The rapper continues, “You can’t watch Kim keep my kids from me and not say anything publicly, then call yourself my friend so I can bring my audience to your struggling platform.” As a result of the autism remark that Kanye referred back to his accident in 2002, which caused his alleged “signs of autism.” While Kanye was driving home from a recording studio around 3 AM in October 2002 when he allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of a rented Lexus, crashing into an oncoming car. Kanye completely shattered his jaw in the accident, and the other driver broke both legs. Kanye had to have his jaw wired shut during the healing process, Which was an inspiration behind his hit “Through the Wire.” What’s also clear from the messages is that Kanye is still at war with Kim Kardashian, claiming she’s keeping the kids from him. With his current claims regarding his kids, we’ve seen Kanye in Italy for months with his wife, Bianca Censori, and only with his kids a couple of those times, including a visit from Saint only a few weeks ago. Elon suspended Ye’s Twitter account in December for antisemitic remarks the rapper made, including stating he was going to go “Go death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE. However, the account was reinstated again in July, but Kanye hasn’t been active on the platform. It’s unclear if the duo has squashed their beef over a private dinner. It’s still unsure if Elon intends to bring Kanye back onto Twitter with some other type of opportunity. #Clique, what do you think could have spurred Kanye’s texts to the Tesla founder this time?

Teen Found Guilty Of Deliberately Crashing Car Into Brick Wall At 100 mph To Fatally Harm Boyfriend, Killing Him and Another Passenger

Nineteen-year-old Mackenzie Shirilla from Strongsville, Ohio, has been found guilty of murder after intentionally crashing her car into a brick building at a speed of 100 mph, reports PEOPLE. The incident resulted in the deaths of her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and their friend, Davion Flanagan.  Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Nancy Margaret Russo convicted Shirilla on all 12 charges, including “murder, aggravated vehicular homicide, felonious assault, and drug possession.” The judge emphasized that this act was not reckless driving but a deliberate act of murder. “She had a mission and she executed it with precision,” said Russo, who is not related to the victim. “The decision was death.” Shirilla, who had exceeded the legal limit of THC in her system, now faces an automatic life sentence in prison. The conviction allows the possibility of parole after 15 years. Shirilla displayed uncontrollable sobbing as the judge delivered the verdict.  Surveillance footage presented in court showed Shirilla driving at a normal speed before intentionally accelerating and crashing into a building. Prosecutors argued that this act was motivated by Shirilla’s desire to end her turbulent relationship with Russo. “There is no doubt that this happened because of the relationship with Dominic and the defendant’s intent was clearly to end that, and she took everybody that was in the car with her,” Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said after the verdict came down, 3News reports.  However, Shirilla’s attorney argued that there was no clear evidence of intentionality and suggested that she may have lost control of the vehicle. Shirilla’s mother has stated her intention to appeal the conviction.  #Clique, what are your thoughts?

Five Young Siblings Die In Fiery New York Car Crash After Teen Driver Loses Control Of Vehicle

A car crashing into a tree in a metropolitan New York area resulted in the death of five children between the ages of 8 and 17, with only one survivor, USA Today reported. On Sunday morning, at around 12:20 A.M., a Nissan Rouge with six minors from Connecticut veered off the road, crashed into a tree, and caught fire. Four boys and one girl, including the 16-year-old driver, succumbed to their injuries. A 9-year-old, who had been sitting in the vehicle’s hatchback area, escaped from the back. He was taken to a nearby hospital, and is expected to fully recover. Matt Conway, a superintendent about 50 miles north of Scarsdale in Connecticut, says that all of the victims are from the same family. They had just moved to Connecticut from New York, and their father was in the process of enrolling them into the schools there. “It’s the unimaginable,” Conway said, according to the AP. “Having to now make arrangements for five of your children to be buried is a very difficult thing for anyone- one child, never mind five, that you’re going to have to now make arrangements for.”
