Following his fallout with Jones, Common moved on with Erykah Badu. These two were in sync in their hearts and careers. They connected on a musical level and went on to produce a few tracks, including Jimi Was a Rock Star. Despite the synergy, their romance lasted for only two years. It was not until years after their separation that Common shared their dating history.
