    Haddish, 43, was arrested in Beverly Hills California last week after a night out on the town that landed her slumped over the wheel of her vehicle passed out and allegedly drunk.

    The Girls Trip star, however, still hasn’t had her day in court in Georgia. She racked up a DUI charge in January 2022. Now prosecutors in the Peach State want a judge to restrict Haddish from using drugs or drinking alcohol, according to new legal documents obtained by TMZ.

    In Haddish’s Georgia arrest case, she reportedly was knocked out behind the wheel and had been allegedly smoking weed. She posted bond and was released but is awaiting trial. Now prosecutors want to restrict Haddish by changing the terms of her bond release and requiring her to test weekly for drug and alcohol use.

    While there is no reason someone should get behind the wheel and drive drunk when Uber is a thing, Haddish once opened up about her difficult upbringing. At age 12, she bounced from foster home to foster home.
    “You’re dropped in these strangers’ houses, you don’t know these people, these people don’t know you, you don’t know if they’re gonna hurt you, if they’re gonna be kind, you don’t have a clue what’s going on,” she told the Hollywood Reporter.


    “I remember when I got my first suitcase, I felt like I was a traveler, like I had a purpose, like I’m a person, like I’m not garbage, I got this — it’s mine, and my things are in here, and wherever I go I can take this with me and I’m going somewhere, I’m a human. I’m not garbage.”

Recalling that before the settlement, Haddish claimed Morris’ accusations were for extortion purposes.

    Before filing a legal suit, Morris contacted Haddish, asking her former friend to clear of any slander. However, the actress refused. Besides clearing her name, Morris wants to show the world how evil Haddish is. She said, per Black Enterprise:

    “I plan on exposing how evil and desperate for fame Tiffany really is.”

    Now, the comedian is getting ready to battle it out with Morris. Haddish has remained mute for now, but the case would be tried in an arbitration court.

    Thankfully, the comedian who was right inside the car did not crash the vehicle, nor did she sustain any injuries. It was ascertained by TMZ that her car engine was still running while she slept.

    Following a call from someone who intended to report a packed car in the middle of Beverly Hills, the police responded speedily. A few minutes after the initial call, which was around 5:45 am, Tiffany found herself in handcuffs.

    The actress did not resist arrest. She sauntered quietly as the cops placed her in the car. Sources confirmed that the only charge against Tiffany Haddish will be DUI, plus she is scheduled to leave police custody on the same day.

    The onscreen star nearly repeated the same move last year in Atlanta. She was reportedly taken away in handcuffs after falling asleep behind the wheel. Like now, the police received information from a concerned caller. Peachtree City Police Department later saw Tiffany’s car trying to park in a neighbourhood.

    This did not stop the cops from charging her with DUI. In the legal files, Tiffany was accused of improperly stopping on the road. So far, the actress’s arrest has not been met with any acceptance or denial from her camp, as her team has remained mute.

    It looks like Tiffany Haddish might be getting back into the acting scene! When asked about how she felt about the news of the Girls Trip sequel,  which was confirmed by co-writer of the movie Tracey Oliver, Haddish replied,

    “She says it every year and I look forward to it.”

    if her character in the movie, Dina, is replaced in the sequel following the sexual abuse allegation she faced last year; however, despite it all, she mentioned that she would love to return and work with the cast again, reports TMZ.

    “I will do anything with those women. I love those people. I love everybody that worked on that. We had a blast. They wanna work with me, I wanna work with them…And I know that the girls would love it too. We talked about it often.”

    She reflected on the backlash she faced when the sexual abuse accusations began to surface. Haddish said,

    “I can’t be concerned about what people think. I got to be concerned about how I feel. When I look in the mirror, am I happy with what I see? Yes ma’am. God made it, God did a good job and God knows the truth.” 

    If you’re unaware, two siblings dropped charges against Haddish and Aries Spears. The siblings accused the comedians of sexually abusing them while they were underage as they filmed a comedy skit. 

    However, despite the accusations against Haddish, Will Packer, the producer for the movie revealed that the sequel can’t be done without the comedian. He said,

    “I gotta have the (original) cast. I gotta take them. ‘Cause people love those ladies. They love those characters.”

    “[Tiffany Haddish] was a breakout. Everybody else that came in and auditioned for that role, they were playing the character they read on the page. But Tiffany became the character. She took what was on the page and took it to the next level,”

    Packer continued.
