Five young thieves armed with a baseball bat, a knife, and wooden pieces assaulted a commuter on a Brooklyn subway last week, officials say. The victim, who was aged 44, was on a F train near the 18th Avenue station close to 6 a.m. on Jan. 14 when the teen group confronted him, stole his cellphone, and pushed him onto the platform, per the New York Post

The victim reported no injuries from the incident. The thieves remained on the train and were still at large as of Wednesday, prompting the NYPD to release surveillance footage of them. The video shows the group recklessly walking through an empty train car, with some teens carrying pieces of lumber as they move maneuvered.
