On December 21, two men planned to lure a teenage boy to a hidden site to rape him. They approached the 19-year-old around Harry Ramsdems in Old Steine. Although that was the first time of meeting them, they were able to take the teenager to Steine Lane, where he was raped. According to The Sun, the area is near the seafront in Brighton.
Following the rape incident, the teenage rape victim sought the attention of a passerby and they were able to call the police. Authorities have assured the victim that they will take the necessary steps to follow up. So far, the investigation process has started and a team of experts are walking the teenager through the experience.
Sean Booth, the lead detective on the case, confirmed that it was an unfortunate incident. The inspector emphasized that there is no pardon for such crime in Sussex. He also clarified that Steine Lane is a well-known site in the area as it connects to Old Steine. The detective added that there would have been a few witnesses because it is a walk-through.
In an attempt to speed up the investigation, the police are requesting help from the public on the teenage boy rape case. They have also shared their identities—particularly images of the rape suspects. Per Operation Attach, anyone with useful information should contact 101 or the Sussex Police website.
