Daja Pringle is turning pain into purpose after her two-year-old daughter was viciously mauled to death by three Rottweilers.
Last month, Pringle thought she left her daughter A’Daya Rain Fisher safe at a Houston, Texas home daycare. Despite immediate response from authorities, paramedics were unsuccessful. The Rottweilers have since been euthanized. But tragically the Rottweilers attacked and killed the toddler and now Pringle is left picking up the pieces and trying to bring awareness to the dangers of dog attacks, FOX 26 reports.
“One night I’m okay. One night, I’m on the floor,” she said about the struggle she endures.
Every day, the grieving mother says she’s counting her blessings and takes time to reminisce about her daughter who she says was full of life, always smiling and jovial.
“She was full of personality, always smiling, always dancing,” Pringle said.
“I would just hug her and love on her like I always did,” Pringle remembers.
Pringle mother passed away in 2015, and now she holds to the belief that her mom is embracing her child.
“Now, they’re my angels,” Pringle said. “Honestly, I just have to look at the blessings in all of this. It’s hard enough as it is. I’m blessed that they’re with each other, neither one of them are here, and they can guide me.”
In the spirit of making a difference for other young kids, Pringle plans to launch a nonprofit with the purpose of raising awareness and supporting other families who have endured similar tragedies.
No charges have been against the dog owner.
