A Texas teen who was overtaken by the effects of ingested THC edibles has since been apprehended. The police say that his mom and sister were shot while he waved a gun at the emergency services when they arrived.

Fox 26 and KHOU reported firsthand that the 15-year-old phoned the cops after chewing a handful of THC edibles. He informed the authorities that he was set to murder with a gun in his hand. The police were met with two gunshot victims at the scene.

These victims were the teenager’s mom and his sister who is also a minor. Houston Police told reporters that the young man had had too much of the edibles which led to a bad reaction. They explained that the teen was in the company of another minor and an adult. Together, all three of them ate the THC edibles; but he was the only one who acted violently.

As he began to act out carelessly, they called in an ambulance while trying to calm him down. But his company further aggravated his reaction by laughing at him. No information has been spared concerning this adult and another minor in his company as the police have yet to identify them.

But sadly, his relatives bore the consequences of their bottom-barrel joke which almost cost them their lives. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they confirmed that the teen had already shot his mom in the back and his sister multiple times.

The shooter also aimed the gun at them but changed his mind as he dropped it and ran off. Amid the THC edibles being the primary cause of this tragedy, police say the Texan teen will face the law.
