Actress Theresa Randle, known for her roles in the Bad Boys franchise and Spawn, has been arrested and charged with felony assault following an altercation in Los Angeles.
The incident occurred earlier this week, and Randle was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
According to the LAPD, officers responded to a report of a disturbance on October 5, at a private residence in the Los Angeles area. Upon arriving, they found Randle involved in what was described as a physical confrontation. After conducting an investigation, authorities determined that the severity of the altercation warranted felony assault charges.
Randle was subsequently arrested and booked at a nearby jail, later being released on bail, according to TMZ. The details surrounding the cause of the incident and the extent of the injuries involved are being investigated.
Randle has maintained a relatively low profile in recent years. Best known for her portrayal of Marcus Burnett’s wife in the Bad Boys films alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, she has not commented publicly on the charges.
Randle’s legal team has not yet released a statement, but sources close to the actress told The Hollywood Reporter that she is expected to plead not guilty at her upcoming court date. The case is still unfolding, and Randle’s legal counsel is reportedly preparing a defense.
