This is one insurance fail that’s sure to get these scammers cancelled!

An alleged insurance fraud attempt in New York was foiled thanks to a dashcam recording, which captured the entire incident.

TikTok user Ashpia Natasha shared the footage, documenting a harrowing moment on October 16, while driving on the Belt Parkway in Queens. A silver Honda swerved in front of her and abruptly braked, attempting to force a rear-end collision. However, she managed to stop just in time, avoiding impact.

The situation escalated when the Honda reversed into her vehicle, with the occupants then pretending to be injured. They emerged from the car, holding their heads and jaws, seemingly in an attempt to fabricate injuries for an insurance claim. Fortunately, the dashcam recorded the entire episode, including the moment when one of the alleged fraudsters noticed the camera and appeared visibly alarmed.

Ashpia promptly reported the incident to the police. However, due to a policy of non-response to accidents without injuries, no officers arrived on the scene.
