On a bright Friday afternoon, a trio of thieves entered #PerfectPets’ store to steal bulldogs. The manager, #BiancaRose, whose family owns the business, revealed that they glanced around after getting into the shop.

This behavior was tagged as strange since people who often purchased pets had a preference once they entered. According to Jens Larden, the store owner, the men inquired about the prices of the dogs which were tagged at $4,299 each.

Per NBC News, Rose claimed that one of the bulldog thieves fell to the ground, and it was later discovered that he had faked a seizure. Meanwhile, another man targeted the cages of two English bulldog puppies.

An employee wrestled with the thieves but it was futile. In the end, two men escaped, leaving their pal who had faked a seizure behind. Arapahoe County Police Department arrived shortly after and arrested the ‘fake seizure’ man.

The authorities identified him as Timothy Davis and he was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a felony, theft, and drug possession. He is due to appear in court on Thursday. It is unknown whether Davis has been charged with any crime yet.

The police also determined that there were four bulldog thieves in total. While three invaded the store, one man was serving as a lookout and driver. All three escapees are wanted for stealing bulldogs worth $8,000.
