In 2024, Antonio Bland and Abigail Luckey went on a stealing spree that lasted two weeks. During this time, they enlisted the help of a third party, 23-year-old Ronnie Tucker. The trio robbed 12 businesses in different cities around California.

Businesses hit between January 29 and their time of arrest included nine 7-Eleven stores, two doughnut shops, and a smoke shop. At the time, they had just concluded their Vegas wedding ceremony, yet they returned to California to rob a store.

Per NY Post, the police claimed that these robberies were carried out at night. While Antonio Bland and Tucker entered these stores in their face masks and hoodies, Luckey was on the lookout. However, not long after they celebrated love, the authorities apprehended all parties involved.

They were arrested on February 14, 2024, during a hit on a store in Downey. The trio encountered problems when an employee countered their threats by retrieving a gun in self-defense.

Their charges include one count of conspiracy to commit interference with commerce by robbery under the Hobbs Act. The Hobbs Act criminalizes robbery or extortion affecting interstate commerce. Other charges include three counts of Hobbs Act robbery and one count of attempted Hobbs Act robbery.

Both Tucker and Bland have one additional count of Hobbs Act robbery and four counts of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime. Meanwhile, Bland received an additional count of felony in possession of a firearm and one count of being a felon in possession of ammunition.

If found guilty of their charges, all three are likely to spend a maximum of 20 years behind bars. They remain in federal custody and will appear in court on May 6.
