On October 20, Border Force officials at Machester airport requested Olga Bednarska to open her luggage as she touched down from Thailand. However, the influencer was unable to unlock the suitcases. She later revealed that the bags were given to her by someone named Tex who she barely knew.

Upon searching, authorities confirmed that cannabis weighing 39.9 kg was hidden underneath her clothes in the luggage. Bednarska was immediately detained. After weeks behind bars, the court ruled that the suspect would serve a suspended sentence.

The judge, John Porter disclosed how the online maven took the deal of flying cannabis knowingly. He stated that the influencer lived beyond her means and entered into a debt totaling £16,000 due to her luxury lifestyle.

So after an all-expense paid trip to Thailand, the 27-year-old agreed to fly back home with luxury goods. For this trip, she was to earn £18,000. On October 10, Olga Bednarska met with Tex, her “associate” and was given “free money.” She used the money to purchase the suitcases.

According to The SUN, the TV star was asked to provide “cover-up” items, including clothes and watches. The influencer was warned not to interfere with the boxes which were secured with codes she didn’t know.

While Olga Bednarska could have earned £18,000 following its success, the cannabis is worth about £157,600. Bednarska will now spend 20 months behind bars. On top of that, she is required to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities.
