Tragic! Missouri Mother Charged After Allegedly Giving Fentanyl Pill to 14-Year-Old Daughter For Toothache

A Missouri woman is facing serious charges after allegedly giving her 14-year-old daughter a fentanyl pill in response to the teenager’s complaint about a toothache, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

The mother involved in the recent Missouri has been identified as Jacquelyn Powers, 35. Powers allegedly gave her daughter the pill on October 3 after the teen complained of a toothache, believing it was an oxycodone pill.

The girl tragically died 10 hours later due to an overdose.

Missouri law enforcement was alerted to the situation and took swift action, leading to the mother’s arrest. She now faces charges that could carry significant legal consequences if convicted. Powers has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and child felony death, with her bond set at $150,000.

Authorities say the potent opioid, which is highly addictive and often lethal in small doses, poses extreme risks, especially when administered to minors.
