Travis Hunter has asked Comedian Godfrey to stay out of his business after the latter offered him advice. Months after Hunter and his longtime girlfriend got engaged, Godfrey posted online advising the football quarterback to be careful and to draw a prenup agreement before tying the knot. However, Hunter didn’t appreciate Godfrey’s comments and asked him to keep his thoughts to himself.

Travis Hunter has responded to Comedian Godfrey’s advice about his relationship with fiancee Leanna Lenee. The football quarterback has always been inundated with fans’ messages warning him to be careful. However, he usually defends Lenee. Similarly, Hunter clapped back at Godfrey when the latter offered him advice recently.
“You know her? No, so don’t speak on my relationship you old ash move on with yo life,” He responded.
Hunter and Lenee began dating in high school. They got engaged in early 2024. Their relationship has always made headlines, especially after fans discovered Lenee was initially uninterested in Hunter. However, Hunter always defends his woman each time her integrity is questioned. Their interaction during Hunter’s last game at Boulder also caught attention, leading many to speculate there was trouble. However, Hunter posted four pictures of Lenee online with the caption, “Queen,” and denied any issues.
Comedian Godfrey’s Advice to Travis Hunter
Hunter and Godfrey’s altercation came from the latter saying he didn’t trust the 21-year-old football player’s choice.
“This message goes out to Travis Hunter, Comedian Godfrey began in a clip posted on Onsite’s Instagram page. “Listen Travis, I just want you to be careful, man. Nah. Yeah, yeah, I said it. Be careful. Congratulations on your engagement, but man, you might have to disengage because something about this woman. Man,” Godfrey expressed.
“The way she was talking to you and the way she was talking like she was really that chick,” he continued. “Listen, you love who you love. Facts. Okay, I got that. That’s all logical, but something ain’t right. I just watched that dumb video of you guys in those matching pajamas that bugged me,” Godfrey said, adding, “and she was like dogging you going, ‘yeah, he wasn’t my type. I was like aww. And then we went to this party, and then we fell in love.'” he remarked sarcastically.
Comedian Godfrey Accuses Travis Hunter’s Girlfriend
Godfrey continued analyzing Hunter’s fiancee and opined that she was only after his money.
“I think, personally, I don’t when y’all dated. Was it high school, college? I don’t give a fuck,” he said, “but when she found out your stats, bro, that’s when I think she’s like, ‘Oh, I love him. I love him.’ I don’t know what she is. She’s like Indian looking, Latino looking with a sprinkle of ebonics,” the comedian concluded.

Online users reacted to the pair’s back and forth and sided with the latter. They advised Hunter to follow the older man’s advice even if he trusted his fiancee. Some also said that Hunter would earn his lesson the hard way.
“Godfrey don’t say shit else to him. Let him cut the check just like the rest of,” an Instagram user responded.
