Travis Hunter wants to settle with Leanna Lee soon. The Colorado Buffs star revealed when he wants to marry his fiancee while talking with his teammate Shedeur Sanders on a podcast. Hunter also disclosed in another podcast that he is not moved by the noise online and is ready to tie the knot regardless of people’s opinions.
Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee About to Marry
During his interview on the 2Legendary podcast with Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter revealed that he had already picked a wedding date for him and his fiancee, Leanna Lenee.
“May 24th next year, bro. Right after the (NFL) rookie mini-camp,” he said when Sanders asked when he was getting married.
Hunter disclosed that the wedding will be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, adding that Lenee chose the place because “She wanted to have a good venue, enough for everybody to come.” The footballer also expressed excitement about his upcoming wedding:
“Well, I’m just ready to go eat, dance, do my thing. That’s it, guys. Hang out with the family.”
Hunter again discussed his impending wedding during his interview on ThePivot podcast.
“So honestly, y’all getting married in 2025,” his host asked, to which Hunter replied, “Yes.”
He also affirmed when asked if he intended to marry in his “rookie year” and have babies, which he responded to with a huge grin.

Hunter also revealed he wouldn’t break up with Leanna Lee, as many had advised.
“I just let people talk. Me, I’m a big troller so I just troll the internet. I really don’t care what they think or what they say about us so, I just go on there and troll,” he said. “They talk about her, I post her to make them even more mad than they already are so they try to find something to hate, try to find something to break up on our relationship but ain’t nothing there, ain’t nothing you can find cause I love my woman.”
Travis Hunter’s relationship with his longtime girlfriend and now fiancee has been the subject of negative criticism for some time. The pair went viral when Lenee seemed annoyed with the quarterback during his game two weeks ago. Hunter’s team won the game; hence, many questioned why she wasn’t happy. The doubts about her sincerity towards Hunter increased when a video of the couple appeared online. Leanna Lenee revealed in the clip that she wasn’t attracted to Travis Hunter at first.
Comedian Godfrey Advices Travis Hunter
Comedian Godfrey also joined those warning Hunter about his choice. He posted a video online saying:
“Listen, Travis, I just want you to be careful, man. Congratulations on your engagement, but man, you might have to disengage because something about this woman. Man,” Godfrey expressed. “The way she was talking to you and the way she was talking like she was really that chick,” he continued. “Listen, you love who you love. Facts. Okay, I got that. That’s all logical, but something ain’t right.”
However, Travis Hunter responded, asking the comedian to stay out of his and Leana Lenee’s business. Hunter is the potential first pick in the 2025 NFL draft and is a strong contender for the Heisman Trophy. He is expected to sign his contract in 2025. The NFL mini-camp has also been fixed and will be held between May 2-5 or 9-12.
Travis Hunter’s love for Leanee Lenee is admirable. Hopefully, she feels strongly about him, as the footballer insists, and the two have a wonderful life together. We wish them the best for their wedding.
