Two Georgia women are on the lam after going from store-to-store in a mall stealing merchandise along the way, WSBTV reports.
Gwinnett county Georgia authorities are looking for two women Nakenda Janea Thompson Fevrier, 27 and Shacarrie Deasia Heyward, 29, after they were caught going on a stealing spree.
“With around $8,000 estimated stolen from nine different stores that evening,” said Cpl. Juan Madiedo of the Gwinnett Police Department.
The suspects reportedly hit several stores, racking up expensive merchandise from nine different stores in the Mall of Georgia.
“They took items ranging from Stanley Cups from Dick’s Sporting Goods to child’s clothing to high end perfumes,” Madiedo said.
“It appears they did it just before closing,” he said.
On June 22, a Dick’s Sporting Goods employee confronted the women after he peeped them pocketing items. The crooks fled on foot, dropping thousands of dollars of merchandise. They even left their vehicle, a white Kia and they left behind laundry loads of clothes on the ground.
“The vehicle was a rental vehicle,” Madiedo said.
The women are facing charges from shoplifting to prowling when they finally get caught.
