Four teens were apprehended in New Jersey for holding a 13-year-old girl hostage in a hotel and attempting sexual assault at gunpoint. Officials rescued her and she informed them that she was being held and assaulted, per the New York Post.
Officials discovered two handguns and hollow point bullets amid a search, leading to the arrest of four Newark teens.
Two 15-year-old girls face charges including kidnapping, assault, weapon possession, conspiracy, attempted sexual assault, and possessing hollow point bullets. One girl was also slapped with an aggravated assault charge.
None of the teens were named due to them being minors.
While Tavin McCullough and Kyle Green, both 18, face charges for weapon possession, child endangerment, and having hollow point bullets. Reports noted that officials are still investigating the matter.
