A Venezuelan migrant who entered the US illegally is behind bars for allegedly raping his boss’s 14-year-old daughter while living in their basement in Colorado, according to Homeland Security sources per The Post.

Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo, 20, was arrested in Denver on Tuesday after being on the run for almost three months following the alleged incident, as reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Police were called to the home on August 29 about Castillo who allegedly

“forced himself on the 14-year-old”

girl and sexually assaulted her that night.

However, he had already fled the scene by the time the police arrived. Detectives finally found and arrested Castillo in Denver this week. He crossed the border into El Paso, Texas, illegally in September 2023 but was released by Border Patrol agents because there wasn’t enough space to hold him, according to Homeland Security sources.

Castillo claimed he was heading to Orlando but ended up in Colorado. He was arrested there in May for allegedly having tools for forgery and theft. After the sexual assault, ICE lodged a detainer for Castillo’s arrest. He is now in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
