Fans recently got a glimpse into the life of one of Mindless Behavior stars, Prodigy, born Craig Crippen Jr., years after he left the group. A clip of him working at Amazon went viral, causing many people to ask why he was not set up for life. This led to fans calling out Victor Herbert, one of those responsible for managing the boys, and asking for accountability. However, many fans have defended Herbert and opined that Prodigy looks happy where he is.
Mindless Behavior star Prodigy Working At Amazon
Fans were surprised when they saw Mindless Behavior star Prodigy in a clip on Monday, January 27. The former boy band lead singer was in the viral clip with a co-worker. On a video call, he smiled with the co-worker and her friend. The video had a text overlay reading:
“POV: Prodigy working at Amazon with my best friend.”
The Mindless Behavior star looked cheerful in his get-up, which consisted of a burgundy durag, gold chains, a black tee, and a black leather jacket. Many people were happy that Prodigy looked good and happy at work. They also expressed delight at his decision to do honest work.
A fan commented:
“Why can’t people have regular jobs I’m confused clearly the group didn’t work.”
Another person agreed and said:
“Quit job shaming.”
A third fan said:
“Listen he is working for a living unlike many artist/hollywood folks we see who succumb to drug addiction homelessness, sex work, or gay for pay. I applaud him.”
Fans Call Out Vincent Herbert
Meanwhile, fans blamed Vincent Herbert for the group’s failure after the clip of Mindless Behavior star Prodigy went viral online. They claimed that the Streamline Records head should have assisted them in investing in the future. A fan said:
“Prodigy working at Amazon. Princeton gay a** still pretending to be straight on here and making music no one cares about. Roc been in jail since 106 & Park last aired and Ray Ray fell off the face of the earth. That group was setup to fail! I blame Vincent Herbert.”
A second person commented:
“I just seen somebody recording Prodigy at work at Amazon. Idk why but that really bothers me. Them boys should’ve been set.”
Another fan wrote about the star:

Who is Prodigy?
Prodigy was one of the stars of the Mindless Behavior group. The Los Angeles group comprised four teenage boys who gained recognition with hits such as My Girl and Mrs. Right. They toured as opening acts with The Backstreet Boys, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, and Janet Jackson. They also headlined the SCREAM Tour with Diggy Simmons and BET’s Closer to My Dreams Tour. Keisha Gamble, Vincent Herbert, and Walter Millsap formed the group in 2008, but it disbanded in 2017.
Prodigy was a star and the lead singer in Mindless Behavior. However, he left the group in 2013 due to alleged bullying and mistreatment and was replaced by another singer, EJ. He returned in 2014 after one of the original members, Roc Royal, was fired for misbehavior and gangsterism. However, Prodigy was only a placeholder; he lasted about a year before another singer, Mike, replaced him.
