The Washington Correction Center for Women has been mentioned in a lawsuit by a former inmate named Mozzy Clark involving Christopher Scott Williams. The plaintiff explained that officials in the facility withheld her constitutional rights while she complained of sexual assault.
Amid her experiences, the officers did nothing to help out. On top of that, they threatened her not to go public. The plaintiff’s legal team claimed that the Correctional Center maintained that Clark’s dissatisfaction made public would be a hate crime.
Christopher Williams, the accused, who was placed in her cell as a cellmate, identifies as a woman. However, he’s yet to change his name. In the federal lawsuit, the “fully biological male” made sexual advances to his fellow cellmate and molested her repeatedly.
During the episode, the plaintiff claimed that a prison officer was banging on her cell door after finding Williams on her bed. Allegedly, at one point he was taken away from her cell, yet the abuse persisted as he tailed her around the prison yard.
The complaint made the suit public in August when she spoke to National Review. During the interview, she emphasized the horrors she endured at the hands of her cellmate. Although these claims have not been proven, Williams’ records for sexual assault precede him.
The New York Post reported that he was convicted of molesting a family member during their younger years. He also failed to register as a sex offender, while assaulting a male guard while in a male prison. Christopher Williams was serving time in a men’s prison for domestic violence.
