Wendy Williams and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter divorced back in 2020, but he says she still owes him money and he wants her to show up to court to answer for it.
Hunter is demanding that the former hot-topic talk show hostess actually show up to the hearings and not her guardian Sabrina Morrisey, The Sun reports.
Hunter wrote in a motion, “Ms. Morrissey’s ‘pro se’ representation of Ms. Wendy Williams is akin to practicing law without a license as she is neither a barred attorney, nor a Guardian appointed by a New Jersey Court.”
Hunter is claiming that Williams still owes him money from the divorce. But according to reports, Williams’ long-time friend says she had upwards of $55 million in her accounts before her guardian took over. Wells Fargo also froze Williams’ accounts. A mediator now says Williams is broke.
Since Hunter’s plea to the court, Morrisey has 30 days to prove that she has the authority to represent Williams in court.
Sounds like Hunter needs a hobby.
