A high school love affair took a deadly turn when a jealous boyfriend convinced his ex to set up her new boyfriend.

Andre Clements, 17, reportedly got upset when he heard his ex-girlfriend, Christie Parisienne had slept with 18-year-old Dwight “DJ” Grant, WSVN reports. So he plotted revenge with Parisienne’s and another classmate’s help.

On Thursday, Parisienne 20, and Jaslyn Smith, 19, pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree murder, tampering with evidence and conspiracy to commit murder in the 2021 killing of DJ Grant. The women were sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation.

Clements’s trial is slated for 2025.

According to reports, Parisienne went to DJ’s apartment with the promise of sex, only for Clements to intercept and brutally beat the 18-year-old victim up.

Clements then fatally stabbed DJ with a sword in the neck and chest. Parisienne was 17 at the time and another classmate Jaslyn Smith also was in on the murder plot. Clements reportedly was fuming because his ex-girlfriend had slept with the guy.
