After getting arrested for running over a rider with his car, 31-year-old Jordan Spalding made an allegation against the deceased. However, when the police did not buy it, the suspect confessed to being high on fentanyl.

On Tuesday, Spalding requested the services of Samuel Webster, a 74-year-old driver who used his vehicle for work. Affiliate Fox 10 Phoenix reported that around 5 p.m., the authorities were alerted to a crash. Once they arrived, the police noticed the elderly man covered in injuries and pain.

Although he was immediately taken to the hospital, Webster was pronounced dead upon treatment. While investigating the case, the police spoke to witnesses and checked surveillance footage for evidence.

They soon discovered that Walding and the deceased had gotten into a heated argument. Following this discord, the duo exited the vehicle but Walding quickly entered the car to drive over the rider. Per Fox 11, Jordan Spalding ran over him multiple times.

After her arrest, Walding alleged that the 74-year-old wanted to rape her. However, there was no proof to back up this claim. Much later, she revealed that fentanyl was in her system as she took it earlier that day. The suspect remains in custody with a bail bond set at $ 1 million. She is also charged with second-degree murder.
