Gloria Williams, 38, and her husband, Brian Coulter, 34, have been imprisoned for their roles in a homicide. According to Williams’ other two kids who testified during the trial, Coulter was abusive towards their brother. He often beat 8-year-old Kendrick Lee, who ended up dead in 2020. But rather than report the incident, the couple hid the boy’s body.

As if that was not enough, they abandoned the two kids in the apartment. Meanwhile, the duo rented a new home. People reports that a year after living with the dead body, one of the boys alerted the police. Williams’ 15-year-old son told the police his dead sibling lay next to his room.

Shockingly, during a look into the home, the Harris County Police discovered more horrifying details. Apart from the skeletal remains, a strong stench caused by the body and an unkempt home hit the officers. The police also realized that the boys lived in an unfurnished home filled with insects.

Both Gloria Williams and Coulter have been implicated in the death of the young boy. During a press conference in 2021, the investigators referenced Coulter as manipulative. But they maintained that his wife failed to protect her son.

In April, the 34-year-old received a life sentence without parole. He was accused of beating the deceased to death. In October, Williams pled guilty to two charges of injury to a child. She was sentenced to 50 years behind bars.

Williams has now entered a plea agreement but she requests that her kids do not testify during future trials. According to the district Attorney’s office, she will spend at least twenty-five years before the possibility of parole. Houston Chronicles claims that the mother expressed her remorse during sentencing.
