The cop found the youth pastor lounging on a floor mattress in the master’s bedroom. Meanwhile, a teenager from an online escort ad was also present and identified. Once the investigations pointed to enough evidence involving teen prostitution, the police arrested Johnson. He was immediately charged with a third-degree felony for living off the earnings of prostitution. He has since been held in Paul Rein Detention Facility, Pompano Beach, Florida.

During interrogation, Johnson confessed that he worked as a volunteer youth pastor and children’s counselor. For more than a decade he had maintained these positions at Macedonia 17th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham. The unnamed teen with him went on to share how she was introduced to prostitution by Johnson.

According to the teen statement, she was only 12 when she began selling nude content to one Antania online. At the time, the teen resided in Maryland, and she never met Antania until September 2023. He claimed to be in charge of her nude content but admitted that he was not Antania.

The suspect maintained that there was a 27-year-old Antania Hodges who worked with the teen earlier. He appeared in front of a magistrate judge on October 25 in Broward County. There, Judge Michele McCaul Ricca set a $500,000 bail bond. The judge ordered that upon release he must be monitored with a tracking device.
