A renowned New Jersey singer, Kim Beacham-Hanson, was sadly, murdered by her daughter at her residence while her other 17-year-old daughter was also in the home. Officials discovered the 57-year-old dead from blunt force injuries, allegedly inflicted by her daughter, Breanna Beacham, 32. If you’re unaware, Beacham-Hanson was known for the 1992 dance hit Trouble with 111 East Records, per the New York Post.
Officials are investigating the motive, but her grandmother noted Beacham had a history of mental illness, which included schizophrenia, she added that she had previously threatened relatives with brutality.
79-year-old Lorainne Beacham informed The Post,
“She wasn’t in her right mind.”
“She had called my daughter in the middle of the night one day last week talking really crazy,”
she added.
Reports added that Breanna’s mental health struggle began nearly seven years ago.
“She was back and forth in [mental health] facilities. She used to live with me and my sister, but she had to be removed by the police a couple of times because she’d start threatening out of the blue,”
Lorainne said.
