  • NJ Couple Arrested After Being Accused Of Chaining Up Teen In Bathroom and Forcing Her To Live Inside Dog Crate

NJ Couple Arrested After Being Accused Of Chaining Up Teen In Bathroom and Forcing Her To Live Inside Dog Crate

A couple from New Jersey is accused of mistreating a teenage girl for seven years by making her live in a dog crate and chaining her in a bathroom. Prosecutors claim Brenda Spencer, 38, and Branndon Mosley, 41, abused the now-18-year-old girl physically, mentally, and sexually since 2018, according to the New York Post

The victim escaped from the home on Thursday and reported that the abuse started when Spencer pulled her out of school in sixth grade. She resided in a dog crate for a year, then was locked in a bathroom and chained up, and only allowed outside during relative visits. When not in the bathroom, she stayed in a bare room with just a bucket for a toilet.

The victim informed officials that her room had an alarm system to alert Spencer and Mosley if she tried to escape. She endured mental torture and was beaten and sexually abused by Mosley, a SEPTA train conductor, until she escaped last week with a neighbor’s assistance and reported her ordeal. Investigators discovered her living conditions to be very poor.

Detectives also discovered a 13-year-old girl at the house who had been taken out of school years earlier by Spencer. Inside, officials located many dogs, chinchillas, and other animals. The couple was apprehended and charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and child endangerment, among other charges. Mosley faces five counts of sexual assault.

New Jersey Man Beaten to Death by His Daughter’s Alleged Sexual Assault Assailant and His Father

A teenage boy and his father have been charged with beating a man to death in New Jersey who was trying to defend his daughter following an alleged sexual assault, according to Too Fab

On Easter Sunday, Louis “Gus” Serbeck, 54, and his daughter went to confront Eric D. Hannah, 55, and his son “J.H.”, 17, after Serbeck’s daughter informed him that “J.H.” had assaulted her at his residence the previous day, as reported by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.

    Details of the Fatal Assault

“J.H.” was the one who answered the door, according to the prosecutor’s statement. Serbeck’s daughter informed the police that her father went over to speak with the teens’ father because they were reportedly family friends. However, when “J.H.” answered the door, she described him as being immediately “aggressive.” The situation reportedly escalated into a “physical altercation,” after “J.H.” allegedly picked up a baseball bat and used it to smash a window on Serbeck’s car. Serbeck attempted to stop him and “J.H.” allegedly struck Serbeck multiple times in the head with a metal baseball bat, reports note.

The teenager is also accused of hitting Serbeck’s daughter in the head during the confrontation. Hannah is said to have joined the fight, hitting Serbeck “in the back of the head with a metal flashlight.” According to the probable cause statement, as Serbeck and his daughter tried to leave, he suddenly collapsed to the ground near his vehicle. The Vineland Police Department and emergency medical response arrived on the scene, according to prosecutors. Serbeck was transported to a local hospital and set to be air-transported to another facility, but he died en route.

Eric Hannah and “J.H.” were both arrested on April 20 on charges of homicide and weapons offenses. Additionally, “J.H.” is facing a charge of aggravated assault based on the allegations made by Serbeck’s daughter.

Five NJ Middle School Staffers Terminated After Non-Verbal Autistic Girl Was Tied Up With Tape Over Her Mouth In Classroom

Five school staffers in New Jersey were fired after an 8-year-old girl with autism was taped up in her classroom. The girl’s mother, told News 12 New Jersey that her daughter was restrained at Brackman Middle School in Barnegat, where she attends a special program, according to PEOPLE

The girl’s mother, Kasi Spinelli, informed News 12, “A resource officer from the school called me and said my daughter’s wrists were bound together by tape … Another half hour went by, and the resource officer called me back and said it was also on her mouth.”

Spinelli mentioned that she received photos of her non-verbal daughter taped up in various outfits, indicating the incidents occurred on multiple days. Barnegat’s school superintendent, Brian Latwis, informed PEOPLE that the Board of Education agreed to fire one teacher and four paraprofessionals, all unnamed, involved in this situation.

News 12 reported that Barnegat officials discovered no crime; however, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.

In a YouTube video from Spinelli’s attorneys, the mother shared her daughter’s experience, saying the girl was taped up with painter’s tape. “She can’t come home and tell me about her day,” Spinelli explained. Due to her child being non-verbal, Spinelli took her to the emergency room for testing for possible sexual abuse.

Mother Arrested for Allegedly Forcing Young Child to Wear Dog’s Shock Collar, Police Say

A New Jersey mother was arrested for allegedly using an electric shock collar intended for dogs on her young child, according to officials per the NY Post

Kimberly Cruz-Feliciano, 30, from Cape May, NJ, was taken into custody on March 17 after her child arrived at school with noticeable marks on their neck, raising concerns among teachers, as stated by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office in a news release. The famous Six Flags Kingda Ka roller coaster, once deemed the tallest and fastest in the world, has collapsed in an implosion. Video footage captured the 456-foot-tall ride crashing down at the theme park in Jackson, New Jersey, early Friday morning, reports the New York Post

Multiple explosions happened at the base of the ride just before it fell, sending smoke into the air. Aerial footage showed parts of the ride scattered across the park. Local officials had warned residents on social media to get ready for a series of quick explosions ahead of time.

“The noises may be startling, but please don’t be alarmed. Keep pets indoors if they are sensitive to loud sounds…. If you or someone you know is affected by loud noises, take necessary precautions,” a Facebook post by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s office.

Kingda Ka, built in 2005, had provided over 12 million rides before it was destroyed. Six Flags announced late last year that the popular ride would be removed to make way for a fresh launch coaster, which is expected to open in 2026.

In a bizarre incident in Gloucester Township, New Jersey, two porch pirates were caught on video stealing packages and twerking for a Ring doorbell camera.

The theft occurred on December 9, when the pair grabbed an Amazon package containing baby items and glassware, worth approximately $75, WLBT reports.

One suspect celebrated the theft by twerking directly in front of the camera before they both fled the scene.

After the homeowner shared the footage online via the Ring Neighbors app to warn the community, the thieves made an unexpected return two nights later.

According to additional Ring footage, one suspect confronted the camera, holding their phone up to display the homeowner’s post. “Come on, dude, not cool. That’s my ass on the internet!” the individual said, before running off.

Shortly after, the same suspect returned once more—this time dropping off one of the stolen glasses. The item, however, was broken. “Uh, I meant to give this back,” the individual mumbled before leaving the property again.

The Gloucester Township Police Department is still searching for the suspects and shared the footage on social media, urging anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for the department quipped, “You can’t make this stuff up,” as the odd sequence of events quickly went viral. Authorities are asking residents to report tips via the department’s anonymous crime line.
