RWANDA Police Arrest Serial killer Suspect After Finding Bodies In Kitchen

According To African News, A suspected serial killer has been arrested after the discovery of more than 10 corpses in a pit dug in the kitchen of his Kigali home, Rwandan police and media reported on Wednesday. Police said the 34-year-old suspect met his victims – men and women – in bars and lured them to his rented accommodation on the outskirts of the Rwandan capital.

“He operated by luring his victims, mostly prostitutes, to his home, where he stole their phones and other personal belongings before strangling them and burying them in a pit dug in his kitchen,”

Said Rwandan Bureau of Investigation (RIB) spokesman Thierry Murangira, quoted by local media. The Rwandan media claimed that more than 10 bodies had been found, and a source within the RIB told AFP, on condition of anonymity, that 14 victims had been counted so far.

The RIB spokesman, contacted by AFP, declined to confirm this figure, telling AFP that

“the final number (of victims) will be determined by forensic investigations”.

The suspect had already been arrested in July on suspicion of rape and robbery, but was released on bail for lack of evidence, said spokesman Thierry Murangira.

The investigation followed its course and it was during a search of his home that the bodies were discovered in the kitchen pit.

“The suspect confessed to having learned to kill by watching (videos about) known serial killers. He dissolved some of his victims in acid”. “He studied his victims before luring them (to his home) and favored those most likely to have no close family or friends”

Who would be less concerned about their disappearance.

Mother Charged With Murder After 7-Year-Old Girl Was Discovered Dead In Closet, Reports Say She Was Left In The Closet For Months

Sadly, a young girl’s body was discovered decaying in an Atlanta home after officials received an anonymous tip. The victim was identified as 7-year-old Alivia Hobbs-Jordan. Although the home was evacuated for months, a man found the apartment door open and smelled a horrible odor, according to Cafemom. PEOPLE reported that the man witnessed an arm hanging out of the closet and instantly contacted officials. The unnamed man recalled,

    “She looked like a mummy.”

Officials believe the mother, Alondra Hobbs, left the autistic girl, at some point, between February 28 and June 25. On June 29, the mother was apprehended and later charged with felony murder and cruelty in the second degree, said The Dekalb County Police Department in a Facebook post.

According to ABC 7, a neighbor informed officials that it’s been several months since they’ve seen the tenant. Another unnamed neighbor informed WSB that earlier in the year, the mother expressed that she wanted to kill herself. The neighbor said,

“Everybody like, ‘Why you want to kill yourself?’ She never said…But she never let you in her apartment. Never.”

Authorities confirmed that the young girl was left in the closet for several months; however, they haven’t confirmed the exact cause of death. PEOPLE reported that officials believe the mother purposely abandoned the child and had no plans of returning to the apartment. When police located the girl in the closet, they found

“what appeared to be a full head of hair and decayed flesh that was in the form of an arm and leg.”

They also discovered mail with the mother’s name on it.

Relatives spoke about the incident, as one family member, Latrience Robinson said,

“I just didn’t see that in her. We all have issues, but I didn’t think she would do something to her kids,”

Fox 5 reported. Robinson told WAGA,

“We had no clue…The baby was supposed to be with the dad’s mom in Albany. That’s what she kept telling us.”

Officials Still Seeking 2-Year-Old Girl After Alleged Kidnapper Was Arrested, Suspect Refuses To Give Toddler’s Location

According to Macomb Daily, the girl’s mother was assaulted by the alleged kidnapper, who was apprehended on Monday morning. Wynter Cole Smith, the toddler, was abducted by Rashad Maleek Trice, 28, on Sunday, Lansing officials say.

    According to a police statement,

“We are working with members of the victim’s family and are very thankful for the public’s assistance in providing us with tips to help find Wynter… In any case like this, we need everyone to be moving in the same direction, particularly the family, the community, and law enforcement. As a reminder, anyone who is found assisting the suspect in an effort to hide the victim will be subject to potential criminal charges.”

Officials arrived at the 3000 block of Beaujardin Drive after responding to a report. When they arrived, they discovered a 22-year-old woman who was stabbed multiple times. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was treated. The unnamed woman informed officials that Trice is her former boyfriend and the father of her child, the outlet reported. She added that he attacked her; however, when she defended herself and wounded him, he grabbed Wynter and left his child. According to the Lansing State Journal, Wynter is not his daughter. He and the toddler were last seen driving a 2013 white Chevrolet Impala.

Detroit officials say that Trice was seen driving the same vehicle around Detroit on Monday between 1-5 a.m. St. Clair Shores officials say that a cop recognized the car and attempted to stop it; however, the car fled at 100 mph. Nearly 10-15 minutes into the chase, the suspect slammed into a patrol car, which ceased the chase. Despite Trice resisting, he was hit with a Taser and taken into custody.

The FBI is helping the Lansing police department find the toddler. According to a spokesperson,

“We will continue to do so until Wynter is found.”
