50 Cent Claim He Didn’t Have A Hand In Big Meech’s Canceled Concert

Big Meech’s canceled concert has got 50 Cent in stitches. Meanwhile, the television producer has denied orchestrating the cancelation. Shortly after news of  Big Meech’s canceled concert circulated online, he went online and mocked his former friend for not respecting his street clout. He also sympathized with those who had traveled for the concert and asked to meet with them when they returned. The turn of events has established 50 as the king of pettiness and someone not to be messed with.

    Big Meech’s Concert Canceled

Many were disappointed to learn Big Meech’s concert was canceled a few hours before the event. The star-studded event was to be held at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, on February 13. However, the venue notified ticket holders at the last minute that the program had been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Big Meech’s concert was meant to celebrate his release from prison in October 2024 and would have featured big names like Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and Sexy Red.

Meech was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2008 but was released to community confinement after 15 years. The Black Mafia Family (BMF) founder was found guilty of running a notorious drug trafficking organization and convicted of drug distribution and money laundering. His “Welcome Home” concert was an avenue to honor him by bringing some of the biggest hip-hop stars, given his ties to the music industry.

50 Cent Denies Responsibility For Concert’s Cancelation

Big Meech’s canceled concert has given 50 Cent more ammunition in his war against the BMF founder. However, while many expected him to gloat openly about orchestrating the cancelation of Big Meech’s event, the rapper denied being responsible for the situation.

“I had nothing to with this, please stop calling my phone [shrug emoji],” he wrote on Instagram. “I sincerely hope you have a nice day today, Happy Valentine’s Day. He added sarcastically, “I’m stronger then [sic] you think I am [smirking face emoji].”

50 Cent also sent a message he received from an associate of Dione “Cuffy” Gatling. Cuffy is a St. Louis drug lord who was sentenced in 2019 on drug trafficking and murder charges. He has accused Big Meech of cooperating with the government to nab him. The text message 50 shared about Big Meech’s canceled concert read:

“Tell 50, he’s a bad man homie, that n*gga got the rats jumping ship left and right now.”

Cuffy’s message referenced 50’s statement that Meech’s canceled concert would be a gathering of rats.

50 Cent Sympathizes With Ticket Holders

Meanwhile, despite his patronizing tone and gloating over Big Meech’s canceled concert, 50 Cent was not indifferent to the plight of those affected by the incident. He reacted to a post by some ticket holders who had flown into Texas for the concert.

    The reshared post read:

“@50 Cent really got Big Meech Concert Cancel [crying emoji]. (Got us out here feeling stupid) Fifty really got the streets.”

In response, the actor replied on Instagram:

“I apologize for your trip to miami but [ninja’s] been playing wit me. so you know. Let’s build when yall get back to the city!”

The exact details behind Big Meech’s concert being canceled are still unknown. However, it is safe to say that it will only fuel the feud between 50 Cent and Meech. Hopefully, the two will recall their friendship and bury the hatchet.

50 Cent Intensifies Feud With Big Meech, Says He Failed As A Dad

Big Meech and 50 Cent’s blowout keeps getting bigger, with 50 continuously throwing jabs at his former friend. After accusing Meech of disloyalty, he called him a snitch who sold his ex-partner, Dionne “Cuffy” Gatling, to the government. Following the former drug kingpin’s reply on Monday, February 10, 50, known as Fif, again replied and accused his former friend of being a terrible dad who failed to invest in his son’s future.

Big Meech and 50 Cent’s Fight Grows Bigger

Big Meech and 50 Cent’s feud keeps getting bigger with little hope of a resolution. The G-Unit Mogul went online on Tuesday after Meech replied to him and accused him of failing as a father. Fif claimed that Big Meech was more invested in his reputation than Lil Meech’s future or career and asked Meech to be grateful he picked up the slack. He brought Rick Ross’s daughter, Toie Roberts, into the feud by reposting a video montage of her and Lil Meech attending prom together in 2018, claiming they dated.

“Why old boy didn’t look out for Me Me and send him to acting school BIG SCREECH?” 50 asked. “All your people that was out did nothing for him.”

    He continued:

“You come home thinking you the black Pablo Escobar and f***** him up. I helped your family make over 5 million legit dollars it’s not my fault it’s all gone. You think people don’t see you want to shine so bad you wearing the baby’s jewelry. B****give the baby back his jewelry!”

Big Meech Responds To 50 Cent’s Accusations

The pair have been at each other since the former posted a picture of himself with 50’s arch nemesis, Rick Ross. Meech also invited Ross to his upcoming “Welcome Back” concert, and they shot a promotional video together. Consequently, Fif, who produced BMF, a TV show loosely based on Big Meech’s life, and sponsored Lil Meech, Big Meech’s son, for acting classes, got angry. He threatened to take Lil Meech off the show. He also threatened that the next season of the hit show would be its last.

50 Cent also called Big Meech a “rat” and threatened to expose him. However, Meech denied the accusation on Monday.

“I wasn’t gonna address this because I’m not trying to let nobody trick me off the streets,” he began. “But I’ve never folded, never told, never will. Death before dishonor. Always, with me.”

He also used the opportunity to promote his upcoming “Welcome Back” concert, which was planned to celebrate his release from prison.

“I’m doing this for my loved ones and the support of my friends and family.”

Rick Ross Weighs In On Big Meech and 50 Cent’s Fight

Rick Ross gleefully waded into the fight between Big Meech and 50 Cent. The music mogul and 50 have a long-standing rivalry, and he wasn’t going to pass up on this opportunity. He called 50’s BMF production “lackluster” on his Instagram Stories on February 6 and revealed his plan to do a better version of the show with a bigger budget.

“I wanna do a BMF film because you’ve been entertained by a lackluster, small-budget series,” Ross said. “Now it’s time to do a big-budget film.”

He also pondered who to hire as the director for the movie and teased with some big names.

“Which director? Shout out to my homie F. Gary Gray. Antoine Fuqua, what’s up? Tarantino… there’s a lot of legends. This is gonna be big, I can feel it.”

Big Meech and Rick Ross have been close pals for some time, so 50 Cent’s grouse with the arrangement is funny to many. However, considering his close friendship with Meech, it is understandable that he feels betrayed by the latter’s closeness with his arch-nemesis.

Big Meech Responds To 50 Cent Calling Him A Rat

It seemed unlikely that 50 Cent and Big Meech would fall out, but the two have done just that. The fight, which began after Meech associated himself with 50 Cent’s long-time rival, Rick Ross, continues to grow daily as the duo trade words online. However, Meech appears more interested in focusing on his family and the upcoming welcome-back concert than engaging in a fight with his former friend. In a video, he addressed 50’s allegations, denying the latter’s claims. He also asked fans to celebrate with his friends and family at his concert.

Big Meech Responds To 50 Cent’s Accusations

Big Meech has reacted to and denied 50 Cent’s allegation against him. He posted a video on Monday, February 10, denying that he cooperated with authorities for his benefit.

“I wasn’t gonna address this because I’m not trying to let nobody trick me off the streets. But I’ve never folded, never told, never will. Death before dishonor. Always, with me,” he said in his clip.

Meech also used the opportunity to promote his upcoming “Welcome Back” concert. The concert was planned to celebrate his release from prison.

“I’m doing this for my loved ones and the support of my friends and family,” he explained, and added, “Come out to the Amerant Arena February 13.”

50 Cent Responds To Big Meech’s Post

The G-Unit founder responded to Big Meech’s reply and called him a liar. He shared his former friend’s clip and offered a scathing commentary over it, saying, “You trick Cuff off the streets, n-gga,” referencing the St. Louis drug lord Dionne “Cuffy” Gatling, who is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence. Cuffy previously accused Meech of cooperating against him. 50 Cent added:

“You told Tammy to tell, bitch.”

He also made fun of Meech’s concert, which will feature stars like 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, and Kodak Black. Lil Baby was also meant to perform, but he and a few others have backed out following 50’s accusations against Meech.

“Y’all gon’ be disappointed if Lil Baby don’t show up? When Skilla [Baby] don’t show up? When [Icewear] Vezzo don’t show up? When all these muthafuckas don’t show up?” he said.

Finally, he poked fun at the bear, saying

“[Meech] can’t even go! He on house arrest.”

Why Are 50 Cent and Big Meech Fighting?

In a funny twist, the pair fell out because of the upcoming concert. The two have been tight friends for a long time. Also, 50 even produces the Black Mafia Family founder’s TV show, BMF. The show is loosely premised on Meech’s Black Mafia Family Organization. 50 also sponsored Meech’s son, Lil Meech, so he could play a younger version of his father in the show after handpicking him for the role. However, 50 Cent and Big Meech fell out after Meech shared a picture with 50’s long-time enemy.

OGs know Rick Ross and 50 Cent have been sworn enemies for over a decade. However, Meech invited Ross and the other artists to perform at his February 13 Florida concert. He also appeared with him in a promotional video for the concert. Consequently, 50 felt betrayed and accused Meech of being a government informant. He noted that the infamous drug kingpin’s business associate Tammy Cowins gave the FBI information and that his former friend did the same. 50  Cent also hinted at firing Meech’s son.

Big Meech’s First Response To His Fight With 50 Cent

50 Cent’s accusation kickstarted his fight with Big Meech, and the latter responded quickly. On Instagram, he shared a picture of himself with the G-Unit Mogul, taken after his release from prison in October 2024. In the picture, 50 Cent and Big Meech had arms around each other’s shoulders. However, 50’s face was covered with the image of a rat feeding on cheese. The text “Internet Gangster” was also placed across the rapper’s body.

The picture was his response to 50 calling him a rat after his promotional video clip with Rick Ross went viral. The rapper shared an image of a rat on Instagram. He accompanied the snap with the text, “I think I’m Big Meech.” 50 Cent also threatened to expose Meech and suggested that there was a documentary involving Tammy Cowins.

“The biggest mistake he ever made was not sustaining his relationship with (Tammy Cowin). Her tell-all docu reveals the truth,” he had captioned his post.

50 Cent and Big Meech’s fight has divided many of their fans. Some believe Meech wasn’t loyal to 50, considering how he helped his son, Lil Meech. However, others think Big Meech shouldn’t have to pick sides since he has also been friends with Rick Ross for a while. At present, it doesn’t look like the feud will end soon.
