It seemed unlikely that 50 Cent and Big Meech would fall out, but the two have done just that. The fight, which began after Meech associated himself with 50 Cent’s long-time rival, Rick Ross, continues to grow daily as the duo trade words online. However, Meech appears more interested in focusing on his family and the upcoming welcome-back concert than engaging in a fight with his former friend. In a video, he addressed 50’s allegations, denying the latter’s claims. He also asked fans to celebrate with his friends and family at his concert.

Big Meech Responds To 50 Cent’s Accusations

Big Meech has reacted to and denied 50 Cent’s allegation against him. He posted a video on Monday, February 10, denying that he cooperated with authorities for his benefit.

“I wasn’t gonna address this because I’m not trying to let nobody trick me off the streets. But I’ve never folded, never told, never will. Death before dishonor. Always, with me,” he said in his clip.

Meech also used the opportunity to promote his upcoming “Welcome Back” concert. The concert was planned to celebrate his release from prison.

“I’m doing this for my loved ones and the support of my friends and family,” he explained, and added, “Come out to the Amerant Arena February 13.”

50 Cent Responds To Big Meech’s Post

The G-Unit founder responded to Big Meech’s reply and called him a liar. He shared his former friend’s clip and offered a scathing commentary over it, saying, “You trick Cuff off the streets, n-gga,” referencing the St. Louis drug lord Dionne “Cuffy” Gatling, who is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence. Cuffy previously accused Meech of cooperating against him. 50 Cent added:

“You told Tammy to tell, bitch.”

He also made fun of Meech’s concert, which will feature stars like 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, and Kodak Black. Lil Baby was also meant to perform, but he and a few others have backed out following 50’s accusations against Meech.

“Y’all gon’ be disappointed if Lil Baby don’t show up? When Skilla [Baby] don’t show up? When [Icewear] Vezzo don’t show up? When all these muthafuckas don’t show up?” he said.

Finally, he poked fun at the bear, saying

“[Meech] can’t even go! He on house arrest.”

Why Are 50 Cent and Big Meech Fighting?

In a funny twist, the pair fell out because of the upcoming concert. The two have been tight friends for a long time. Also, 50 even produces the Black Mafia Family founder’s TV show, BMF. The show is loosely premised on Meech’s Black Mafia Family Organization. 50 also sponsored Meech’s son, Lil Meech, so he could play a younger version of his father in the show after handpicking him for the role. However, 50 Cent and Big Meech fell out after Meech shared a picture with 50’s long-time enemy.

OGs know Rick Ross and 50 Cent have been sworn enemies for over a decade. However, Meech invited Ross and the other artists to perform at his February 13 Florida concert. He also appeared with him in a promotional video for the concert. Consequently, 50 felt betrayed and accused Meech of being a government informant. He noted that the infamous drug kingpin’s business associate Tammy Cowins gave the FBI information and that his former friend did the same. 50  Cent also hinted at firing Meech’s son.

Big Meech’s First Response To His Fight With 50 Cent

50 Cent’s accusation kickstarted his fight with Big Meech, and the latter responded quickly. On Instagram, he shared a picture of himself with the G-Unit Mogul, taken after his release from prison in October 2024. In the picture, 50 Cent and Big Meech had arms around each other’s shoulders. However, 50’s face was covered with the image of a rat feeding on cheese. The text “Internet Gangster” was also placed across the rapper’s body.

The picture was his response to 50 calling him a rat after his promotional video clip with Rick Ross went viral. The rapper shared an image of a rat on Instagram. He accompanied the snap with the text, “I think I’m Big Meech.” 50 Cent also threatened to expose Meech and suggested that there was a documentary involving Tammy Cowins.

“The biggest mistake he ever made was not sustaining his relationship with (Tammy Cowin). Her tell-all docu reveals the truth,” he had captioned his post.

50 Cent and Big Meech’s fight has divided many of their fans. Some believe Meech wasn’t loyal to 50, considering how he helped his son, Lil Meech. However, others think Big Meech shouldn’t have to pick sides since he has also been friends with Rick Ross for a while. At present, it doesn’t look like the feud will end soon.
