Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje have captured people’s attention with their recent drama. The duo became the subject of controversy after a leaked voice call from Egbueje leaked on the internet. The socialite accused Burna Boy of defrauding her after being intimate with her and reneging on his promise to buy her a car.

The internet recently went agog over a leaked voice call involving Sophia Egbueje and Burna Boy. In the audio file, Egbueje told her friend that another friend, Ama Reginald, persuaded her to date the musician. Reginald is also a socialite in a relationship with one of Burna Boy’s associates, Manny. Egbueje said:
“[Reginald] is like, ‘Babe, you should take him seriously. You know it’s him that bought Stefflon Don Cullinan. He actually spends money on girls. Just try and take him seriously.’”
The influencer eventually agreed, and after a night of partying, they went to the Grammy winner’s house. According to the businesswoman, they had sex that night “because he had already sold [her] a lot of dreams.” One of these dreams was a promise to get Egbueje a Lamborghini. However, Burna Boy became unresponsive after he and Egbueje spent time together.
Sophia Egbueje Bought Herself A Car
Sophia Egbueje continued her tale, telling her friend she got tired of Burna Boy’s lies and blocked him. She did so after he disappointed her by not going to Lagos on the day he promised to. The Tshwala Bam singer had vowed to get her the Lamborghini that day. Hence, she blocked him and paid for her car the same day. Sophia Egbueje and Burna Boy’s situation also affected the former’s relationship with Reginald as she revealed that she blocked her after the incident with Burna.
Egbueje expressed disappointment in Reginald, who had urged her to consider Burna for a relationship. The 28-year-old influencer said Reginald ought to have put pressure on Manny. She claimed this would have forced her boyfriend to do the same to Burna, who would have been forced to “find her something small, but they both completely removed themselves from the situation after they were the ones blowing up my phone,” Egbueje lamented. She said she was even more upset to see Reginald hanging out with Burna Boy’s new girlfriend, Chloe Bailey.
Burna Boy Responds To Egbueje’s Accusations and Blasts Her
Meanwhile, Burna Boy responded to Sophia Egbueje’s claims and mocked her in the usual fashion. He did not deny the influencer’s accusations but was not apologetic. Burna Boy posted a freestyle video on his Instagram Stories and asked Egbueje why she was making a fuss. He blasted her for losing her cool because he didn’t buy her a Lamborghini.
“No do no do, no do no do. If you no get me, forget about it,” he sang. “I no buy Lambo, is that why you are shouting? Where dem dey? I no dey see dem at all.”
