‘Reckless’ Golf Cart Driver Fatally Strikes Disneyland Employee, Reports Say

A tragic incident occurred at Disneyland when a staff member lost her life while on duty. The incident occurred in the backstage area of the Southern California theme park. The employee was thrown off a malfunctioning golf cart that was being driven

    “recklessly,”

as reported by the NY Post

The victim, Bonnye Mavis Lear, who worked as an administrator at Club 33, suffered severe head injuries around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she sadly passed away two days later. The details of the accident are still limited, but according to Lear’s colleagues, she was thrown off the cart when the driver carelessly hit a bump in the road.

Lear was seated in the rear-facing seat of a brand new cart, traveling at a speed of 20 mph behind Critter County, an area of the park that was temporarily closed. This information was shared by Rae Delgado, a cast member at Disney California Adventure, on Facebook.

“She went to grab the handrail, it gave way and sent her out of the vehicle. We do not know if the passengers were aware that she had fallen out,”

    Delgado wrote.

Lear endured a serious head injury and a fractured skull that could not be resolved through surgery, according to Delgado. In addition, the Disneyland employee claimed that the managers at the Anaheim resort instructed the cast members to remain silent about the details surrounding Lear’s passing.

Lear had worked at Disneyland for 24 years, most recently in membership support services at Club 33.

“We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her,”

Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said in a statement.

Nick Cannon Gives Disneyland $200,000 Every Year, and They Still Won’t Give Him a Discount

Nick Cannon gave up some of his fatherhood experience at Disneyland on The Breakfast Club. The father of twelve shares a story that makes him impartial and a heavy spender. But this is all for his kids to be happy.

Nick Cannon Spends Heavily He Tells Charlemagne tha God on The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club had Nick Cannon as their recent guest; as always, they extracted info about his personal life. It was nothing near controversial, only that it proved how much he is willing to give his kids.

Cannon explained that Disneyland cups get at least $200k every year from him. Even though he failed to mention the most he spends, his least amount is quite the sum. The family does not all gather all at once for a Disneyland experience. Instead, Cannon visits the site every month — sometimes once or more.

Nick Cannon Won’t Get a Discount From Disneyland Even With his $200k Annual Spending

Amid surprising hosts of The Breakfast Club with his explanation, Nick Cannon maintained that there should be a discount. In an honest tone, he maintained that his old employee discount would be helpful if authorized. This should be a no-brainer for any organization, considering he is a constant visitor. But TMZ says it may never happen due to the economic crunch that seems to have bitten hard on Disneyland.

Cannon claimed that things have changed around the place, pointing at the pricing. This way, it is almost impossible for average families to visit. Yet, that doesn’t change his conviction to have his kids in the place. After all, their responsibility is within their budget.

It is no news that the entertainer shares his twelve children with different women. His eldest and first two kids were born during his marriage to Mariah Carey. Cannon’s last child is from a baby mama named Bre Tiesi.

$2 Billion Disneyland-Like Theme Park Planned for Oklahoma

A group of investors are planning to build a Disneyland-like theme park in Oklahoma. The park, which is tentatively called Ozaland, would be located in the town of McLoud and would cost an estimated $2 billion to build.

The park would feature rides, shows, and attractions based on the works of L. Frank Baum, the author of the Wizard of Oz books. It would also include a water park, a hotel, and a convention center. The investors behind Ozaland are led by entrepreneur David Freeman, who is also the founder of the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. They are hoping to break ground on the park in 2024 and open it to the public in 2026.
